Hello friends, it gives me a great feeling to locate this tribe in Hive. Frankly, I have been looking out for a place like this and by God's grace, without anyone pointing me to this place,I located this tribe.
I was told about Hive some months back and I joined in and have done some posts too. My challenge is that, chronic electric power outages in my location have often kept me offline(my phone[which is all I have for this purpose] been not charged) and therefore today I am still quite a novice around Hive.
Let's call this, the joy of fellowship. That's me above,those boys rushed to me in a gospel event eventhough we don't know each other.

Straightaway,may I share from the Word, it is a brief overview of the famous temptations Jesus faced during and specifically after the 40 day fast which his baptism by John the Baptist.(Matt 4:1)
How that God is such a grand planner sublime.
So He wants to shift Jesus to a new realm in Him, especially as Jesus' ministry was about to fully commence after John's baptism.
Jesus will need more grace for this crucial next phase, yet He will need to "die" further. Therefore God was to arrange a program to purge(or "kill" ) Jesus. As He was arranging, He gathered information that the Devil had plans for exactly thesame period.[Trust the Devil,he heard an official announcement by God that Jesus is His son,at Jesus' baptism by John. It infuriated him and in rage and jealousy he arranged to deceive Jesus by himself, like he did Adam].
The Devil thus applied for the tempting-licence to tempt Christ and God gave it to him(terms and conditions appplied). How estatic the Devil was in getting that licence and he went in for the kill, with 3 brutal temptations.
The point is that the Almighty God saw that the temptation will accomplish same thing He wanted to accomplish, so He allowed it and used it as His test on Jesus. Do you see that?
The Devil came with his full repertiore of tricks to flush Jesus into a shit hole(and he didn't even know he was creating a "holiday season" for God as he was ignorantly busy helping God do His job), yet he failed woefully. [You know God doesn't necessarily need a Devil to test or prove- he tested Abraham all by Himself to go kill Isaac as a sacrifice.]
So this was the Father showing a little bit of His immense wisdom in using the Devil(I mean by allowing him) to accomplish His will. Thus,Jesus overcoming those temptations doubled as Jesus passing the Father's test and in flying colours for that matter.
He was thus strengthened, fortified,purged and more grace was released on Him, that is why scripture said he came back from the wilderness of fasting FULL OF POWER(Lk 4:14).
God achieved His plan hook line and sinker.
