Ask confidently according to the degree of intimacy you have with Heavenly Father.
“Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.”

Luke 18:35-42 New International Version
35 As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. 36 When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening. 37 They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by. 38 He called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 39 Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 40 Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, 41 “What do you want me to do for you?” “Lord, I want to see,” he replied. 42 Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.”
A Blind Beggar Receives His Sight
I see in this passage an example of how to ask you for something specific, Dad, seeking your presence and once before saying it as is.
I understand that this way of asking is directly proportional to the degree of intimacy developed with you, Dad and as you say in your word, that it is in the name of Jesus.
I understand that it's not about crying out in the wind, looking for intermediaries, or bluffing, but getting to the point.
I note that I must apply in my daily life this principle of looking for you face to face and asking you directly for things.
Thanks, Dad.
