Genesis 49:8-10 New International Version
8 “Judah,[a] your brothers will praise you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies; your father’s sons will bow down to you. 9 You are a lion’s cub, Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies down, like a lioness—who dares to rouse him? 10 The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet,[b]until he to whom it belongs[c] shall come and the obedience of the nations shall be his.

I perceive in this passage that you show me how is your revelation to Jacob on his deathbed, showing me that you only give it to who you want and when you want.

I understand that it was a peak moment in which Jacob envisioned Juda as the main and whose seed would give the world Jesus.

In addition, you give me an illustration of the importance of a father's blessing towards his children, more than a mere custom it is a commitment that is linked to you, Daddy.

I understand that there is something in my life related to this that I must investigate because my earthly Father died unexpectedly and I did not receive his final blessing from him.

Thank you for your word that teaches and warns me at the same time.
