If war breaks out, will join our enemies, fight against us and leave the country
Exodus 1:10 New International Version
10 Come, we must deal shrewdly with them or they will become even more numerous and, if war breaks out, will join our enemies, fight against us and leave the country.”
I perceive a teaching for me, from you Dad, this verse shows me that when the Egyptians saw the favor of God in the Hebrew people they were afraid of seeing them magnified and strengthened.
I understand that just as the Egyptians oppressed the Children of Israel, today history repeats itself when seeing the unconverted as a people that follows Jesus is blessed and prospered and when seeing the multitudes that gather in his name persecute them.
I also understand that for me it is an example of how in my congregation we can be attacked by people who feel threatened in some way (envy and fear are aroused) by our group when we see how God blesses us and prospers.
I understand that the lack of knowledge of biblical principles is the main cause of the low tolerance and reactionary fear that someone may feel towards my person or my congregation group.
Thanks Dad.
