“This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation."
Exodus 3:15 New International Version
15 God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord,[a] the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’
“This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation."
I perceive that you tell me that you are the same as yesterday and that you will be like that forever Dad.
I understand that this message that you gave Moses to go in your name to liberate the people of Israel, is still valid today, since in Jesus this liberation of the oppressed was fulfilled.
So, by being commissioned by Jesus to do the same, we would be fulfilling that order and your message arrives today as yesterday.
I understand that the application of this concept in my life is to give encouragement, comfort and strength to all who need to be confirmed in the name of Jesus Christ.
Thanks Dad.
