The Lord met Moses and
was about to kill him.
Exodus 4:24-26 New International Version
24 At a lodging place on the way, the Lord met Moses[a] and was about to kill him. 25 But Zipporah took a flint knife, cut off her son’s foreskin and touched Moses’ feet with it.[b] “Surely you are a bridegroom of blood to me,” she said. 26 So the Lord let him alone. (At that time she said “bridegroom of blood,” referring to circumcision.)

I perceive in these verses Dad that you give me a clear demonstration of your sovereignty, acting according to your will and without any human logic.
I understand that by appearing to Moses on his way to Egypt, you taught him a surprising lesson when Sefora circumscribed his son.
Also, according to my logic it doesn't make sense, but you decided it that way so that Moses could see your infinite power and mercy; taking or taking, giving and allowing; all to serve a purpose.
I understand that in my life you do the same you give me and you take me away according to your will and other times you allow me to grow and make character.
Thanks Dad.
