Luke 22:31-32 New International Version (NIV)
31 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”
In these two verses I sensed your message today, Dad, who set an example for me Jesus' dealings with Peter.
I understand that this stormy time I am being shaken and my faith is tested, also that it is up to me to confirm my brethren in the congregation.
I understand that this call I felt years ago and I began to call my disciples directly now to extend it to the other brethren.
I know then that the application of the principle in my life is to confirm myself first (I do not lack the faith) and then to the rest of the congregation.
Thank you, Lord, for making me understand.
