Repairing broken pipes in my neighborhood
Dear friends at @homesolutions, I greet you and wish you all the best on this Friday evening.
It's been a while since I posted about the improvements being made in my neighborhood, but in this case, the condominium association must repair the water system due to several broken pipes, one of which was ours.
Due to an increase in pumping pressure that had to be done so that water could reach places where it previously did not reach or reached very little, there are now leaks in some connections to the homes.
In my case, we had previously replaced the hose that supplies water to the house with a PVC pipe, and the pipe had been placed outside next to my neighbor's. But she has two trucks, and every time she maneuvered her car to enter or leave her parking space, she ran over the water pipes until they began to leak.
Fortunately, the condominium was undergoing repairs, and we were able to have it repaired, but the neighbor had to pay for the expenses because the break was caused by her running over it with her car.
It took several days to find the leak, but once it was located, they replaced the universal joint and that was it. The rest was just filling and sealing the hole with concrete.
Sometimes, because we don't pay attention to the moisture that appears on the streets, the problem gets worse and the work becomes more expensive.
Thank you for reading, and see you next time.
