Comprando nuestro primer calentador de ambiente [ESP-ENG]

Actualmente en Curitiba nos encontramos en la estación de otoño y a medida que pasan los días el frío es más intenso, pero lo peor de todo es que mucha gente nos dice "y eso que no ha llegado el invierno" o "este frío no es nada" , pero para nosotros es un frío que nunca en la vida habíamos experimentado y al que no estamos acostumbrados, por lo que para ambos ha sido bastante difícil el día a día debido a esto y por esa razón nos vimos en la necesidad de buscar alguna solución a lo que para nosotros era un problema y en una de nuestras visitas al supermercado la encontramos.

Currently in Curitiba we are in the autumn season and as the days go by the cold is more intense, but the worst of all is that many people tell us "and that is even though winter has not arrived" or "this cold is nothing", but for us it is a cold that we have never experienced in our lives and to which we are not accustomed, so for both of us the day to day has been quite difficult because of this and for that reason we saw the need to look for a solution to what for us was a problem and in one of our visits to the supermarket we found it.

Pasando por el área de electrodomésticos del supermercado Cóndor (el cual visitamos frecuentemente) nos dimos cuenta de que había toda una sección donde exhibían calentadores de ambiente de diferentes marcas, modelos, tamaños y precios, esto era algo que nunca habíamos visto y realmente llamó nuestra atención, por lo que nos acercamos a verlos.

Walking through the appliance area of the Cóndor supermarket (which we visit frequently) we realized that there was a whole section where they displayed space heaters of different brands, models, sizes and prices, this was something we had never seen and it really caught our attention, so we went to see them.

Habia calentadores de diferentes tipos, unos eléctricos tipo ventilador y halógenos, mientras que otros eran a aceite, no sabíamos que tal eran ni como funcionaban pero sabíamos que queríamos uno, solo que debíamos investigar un poco sobre estos antes de hacer la compra. Casualmente un compañero de trabajo nos comentó que había comprado uno y que era muy bueno, por lo que decidimos también adquirir uno ya que lo necesitabamos mucho.

There were different types of heaters, some electric, fan-type, and halogen, while others were oil-filled. We didn't know what they were or how they worked, but we knew we wanted one. We just needed to do a little research before making the purchase. Coincidentally, a coworker told us he'd bought one and found it to be very good, so we decided to get one too, since we really needed one.

Entre todos los tipos y modelos de calentadores elegimos uno halógeno, pequeño pero perfecto para nosotros que solo queríamos calentar un poco el ambiente. Este que elegimos es de la marca Cadence una que conocemos gracias a la máquina de afeitar de Dani y con eso sabemos que es buena.

Among all the types and models of heaters, we chose a halogen one, small but perfect for us, as we just wanted to warm up the room a bit. This one we chose is from the Cadence brand, which we're familiar with thanks to Dani's razor, so we know it's a good one.

Apenas llegamos a casa lo conectamos para darle el primer uso y nos impresionó mucho lo bien que funciona y lo mucho que calienta, lo hemos usado por varios días y ha cumplido muy bien con su trabajo, sin duda fue una muy buena compra y en un próximo post les hablaré mejor sobre nuestra experiencia con esta nueva adquisición.

As soon as we got home, we plugged it in for the first use and we were very impressed with how well it worked and how much it heated up. We've used it for several days and it's done its job very well. It was definitely a very good purchase, and in a future post I'll tell you more about our experience with this new acquisition.
