Hola amigos de #hive y en especial a la comunidad @home.solutions como siempre espero que se encuentren bien al igual que sus familiares y amigos. Como les he mostrado ya en varias ocasiones, saben que he estado remodelando la casa, y redecorando algún que otro espacio, y al menos todo lo he ido haciendo a mi gusto y posibilidades y hasta ahora todo me ha gustado como ha quedado, sobre todo he tratado de economizar en gatos, pues todo está supercaro, así que he tendido que hacerlo poco a poco.
Resulta que después de haber colocado mis muebles y los cojines nuevos, me di cuenta de que no tenía una alfombrita para la entrada de la casa, así que me dispuse y salí a la calle para ver qué encontraba que me pudiera gustar, pues la verdad como la quería para la puerta del frente, quería que tuviera más o menos los mismos colores o parecidos a los que tengo en la sala para que no resaltara más que la decoración, así que fui por la zona de las alfombras artesanales, pues el presupuesto con el que contaba no me alcanzaba para una original.
Después de caminar un poco encontré algo que tenía los colores parecidos a los colores con que cuánta la decoración de la sala, así que sin dudarlo la compré, la verdad por un precio muy bueno, estaba bien barata, pero como dicen por ahí en el albor popular, lo barato sale caro ja, ja, ja, casi no tenía acolchonamiento, que era lo que más necesitaba porque era para limpiarse los pies al entrar a la casa, pero bueno, eso no fue un problema, al llegar a casa enseguida le di solución.
Bueno les cuento que puse manos a la obra y sin pensar, agarre hilos, una tijera y unas ropas viejas que ya no usaba y que fueran de láster para que no se deshilara y también que fueran de los colores que quería, y comencé a hacer tiras, para colocarle más cuerpo y acolchonamiento a la alfombrita, pues al final el objetivo era que sirviera para secarse los pies al entrar, las tiras que le coloqué demás eran de color beige y blanco, pues de color negro ya tenía suficiente y no quería seguir oscureciendo la sala.
Todo el proceso lo hice a mano, pues no cuento con una máquina de cocer para este tipo de cosas, así que me tomó muchísimo tiempo cocer todo esto a mano, pero les cuento que quedó superfuerte, el color del hilo que utilicé es el que más cerca estaba en la bolsa ja, ja, ja, pues justo de los colores que necesitaba no tenía, así que utilicé el primero que vi, pues además, la verdad es que entre los festones de la alfombra no se ve el color del hilo.
Amigos, les cuento que me encantó el resultado final, ya que se cumplieron todos mis objetivos, en primer lugar logré darle a la alfombrita que había comprado y estaba bien pobre en tela, mucho más cuerpo y ya me servía para el secado de los pies en la entrada de la puerta de la casa, en segundo lugar le pude colocar colores que me pegaran con la decoración de la sala para que no resaltara más que los colores que hay ahí e hiciera como una especie de parte de la decoración, y en tercer lugar, logré aunque tuve que poner un poco más de mi esfuerzo, con poco dinero hacer una alfombra linda y buena, ja, ja, ja digo al menos a mí me gustó. It turns out that after having placed my furniture and new cushions, I realized that I did not have a rug for the entrance of the house, so I decided to go out to the street to see what I could find that I could like, because the truth is that as I wanted it for the front door, I wanted it to have more or less the same colors or similar to those I have in the living room so it would not stand out more than the decoration, so I went to the area of handmade carpets, because the budget I had was not enough for an original one.
After walking around for a while I found something that had colors similar to the colors used in the decoration of the living room, so without hesitation I bought it, the truth for a very good price, it was very cheap, but as they say out there in the popular dawn, cheap is expensive ha, ha, ha, ha, it had almost no padding, which was what I needed most because it was to clean the feet when entering the house, but well, that was not a problem, when I got home I immediately gave it a solution.
Well, I put my hands to work and without thinking, I grabbed some threads, a scissors and some old clothes that I didn't use anymore and that were made of ester so that it wouldn't fray and also that they were of the colors I wanted, and I started to make strips, to give more body and cushioning to the rug, because in the end the goal was to use it to dry the feet when entering, the other strips I placed were beige and white, because I had enough black color and I didn't want to continue darkening the room.
The whole process was done by hand, because I do not have a machine for this kind of things, so it took me a long time to cook all this by hand, but I tell you that it was super strong, the color of the thread I used is the one that was closest in the bag ha, ha, ha, ha, because just the colors I needed did not have, so I used the first I saw, because also, the truth is that between the festoons of the carpet is not seen the color of the thread.
Friends, I tell you that I loved the final result, since all my objectives were fulfilled, in the first place I was able to give the carpet that I had bought and was very poor in fabric, much more body and it was already useful for drying my feet at the entrance of the door of the house, Secondly, I was able to add colors that matched the decoration of the living room so that it would not stand out more than the colors that are there and it would be like a kind of part of the decoration, and thirdly, although I had to put a little more of my effort, with little money I was able to make a nice and good carpet, ha, ha, ha, ha I mean at least I liked it.
