Today I wanted to join the initiative proposed by our friend @elecris05, who proposes some remodeling or aesthetic work in our home to help us create a cozy space in our home. That's why today I wanted to show you an excellent work done by a great carpenter friend, for the doors of the rooms in my home.
As you already know, the house where I lived with my daughters and my husband is the house where my parents used to live, who now have their house in a nice urbanization in my city.
It is worth mentioning that this house has been built about 35 years ago, since it used to belong to my grandparents and it was a tiny house with only one room. When my father offered me to come and live here exactly 15 years ago, we have made some changes to the structure and ergonomics of the house.
As you can see in the photo, the doors of the rooms were made of iron, exactly the same, and I had been wanting to change them for a long time, but due to other priorities and also because of money issues we had not been able to do it.
First, they started by assembling the frames on the floor to make it easier to assemble them.
Once this step was done we proceeded to place the doors with their hinges and also placed a wooden strip across the width of the door because the wood of the frame had bent a little since we had left it standing for several days, leaning against the wall while they came to assemble them.
They then proceeded to mount the doors in place.
They placed what they call the views that give it a better finish and finally to mount the locks.
