¡Hola, amigos! ¿Cómo les va? Sean bienvenidos a mi blog. Soy Yeli Marín y esta vez quiero que me cuenten sus experiencias con el día a día en casa. Yo, en lo particular, este fin de semana estuve muy ocupada y terminé dejando varios pendientes por resolver.
Por alguna razón, mi secadora perdió la fuerza, ya no quiere secar y su movimiento es muy lento. Todavía no he encontrado quién me la revise, así que por ahora he tenido que ingeniármelas, aprovechando las horas de sol para secar la ropa. El detalle es que en mi ciudad ya comenzó el período de lluvias, y aunque el sol se mantiene durante el día, un aguacero puede sorprenderte en solo minutos. Así que me ha tocado lavar por partes. Por suerte, el centrifugado de la lavadora deja la ropa bastante seca, y con un poco de sol termina de secar. Lo que no me gusta es la parte de colgar, descolgar y doblar; ¡me quita mucho tiempo!
Menos mal que ya me queda poco por hacer y mañana termino. Tengo muchas reparaciones pendientes en casa, y ya estoy planificando cómo abordarlas. Por alguna razón, he estado lidiando con problemas de filtración que ni siquiera son en mi apartamento, y eso me ha estresado bastante. Otro punto es que las lluvias mantienen mi jardín bonito y me ahorran la regadera, pero también aceleran el crecimiento de la maleza. Créanme cuando les digo que mantener una casa no es sencillo; sin embargo, tenerla es una bendición, y aunque a veces nos abrume, también nos hace muy felices.
Hello, friends! How are you doing? Welcome to my blog. My name is Yeli Marín, and this time I want you to tell me about your day-to-day experiences at home. Personally, I was very busy this weekend and ended up leaving several things unfinished.
For some reason, my dryer lost power, it no longer dries, and it moves very slowly. I haven't found anyone to check it yet, so for now I've had to improvise, taking advantage of the sunny hours to dry my clothes. The thing is, the rainy season has already started in my city, and even though the sun stays out during the day, a downpour can surprise you in just a few minutes. So I've had to wash in batches. Luckily, the spin cycle on the washing machine leaves the clothes fairly dry, and with a little sun they finish drying. What I don't like is the part where I have to hang them up, take them down, and fold them; it takes me a lot of time!
Thankfully, I don't have much left to do and I'll be finished tomorrow. I have a lot of repairs to do at home, and I'm already planning how to tackle them. For some reason, I've been dealing with water leaks that aren't even in my apartment, and that has been quite stressful. Another thing is that the rain keeps my garden looking nice and saves me from having to water it, but it also accelerates the growth of weeds. Believe me when I say that maintaining a house is not easy; however, having one is a blessing, and although it can sometimes be overwhelming, it also makes us very happy.
Justo este fin de semana, mi vecino del apartamento de enfrente y yo experimentamos problemas de filtración que vienen de arriba y se acumulan en la planta baja. Es un tema que aún no hemos logrado solucionar. Todo esto me puso a pensar que siempre tengo que limpiar, recoger, lavar y cocinar, así que me organizo para que estas tareas sean lo más llevaderas posible. Doblo la ropa, la organizo, y me da mucha calma ver todo en su santo lugar.
Mientras tanto, aprovecho para preparar unas ricas panquecas que a todos nos encantan. Me gustan porque no hay que amasar y son como unas torticas, y en combinación con queso, a todos les fascinan. Siempre busco comidas prácticas, mientras analizo mi siguiente tarea por hacer.
Por suerte, mis hijos me ayudan, y eso facilita mucho mis labores. Ya queda un mes aproximadamente para que terminen las clases, y creo que en vacaciones voy a volver a pintar mi apartamento. Aprovecharé para corregir muchas reparaciones menores que están muy bien enumeradas en mi lista de pendientes.
Just this weekend, my neighbor across the hall and I experienced water leakage problems coming from above and accumulating on the ground floor. It's an issue we haven't been able to resolve yet. All of this got me thinking that I always have to clean, tidy up, wash, and cook, so I organize myself to make these tasks as bearable as possible. I fold the clothes, organize them, and it gives me a sense of calm to see everything in its proper place.
Meanwhile, I take the opportunity to make some delicious pancakes that we all love. I like them because you don't have to knead the dough and they're like little cakes, and when combined with cheese, everyone loves them. I always look for practical meals while I analyze my next task.
Luckily, my children help me, which makes my work much easier. There's about a month left before school ends, and I think I'm going to repaint my apartment during the holidays. I'll take the opportunity to fix many minor repairs that are neatly listed on my to-do list.
Intento ser una mamá moderna, práctica y eficiente, sin morir en el intento, y convertir mi hogar en mi templo. Así es como lo disfruto, aunque cuando veo ese ropero sin doblar siento que es mi cárcel, ¡jajaja! Por suerte, los oficios que no hice el fin de semana ya los he terminado. Ahora disfruto de un café mientras siento la calma de que todo está bajo control.
I try to be a modern, practical, and efficient mom, without dying in the attempt, and turn my home into my temple. That's how I enjoy it, although when I see that unfolded wardrobe, I feel like it's my prison, ha ha ha! Luckily, I've already finished the chores I didn't do over the weekend. Now I'm enjoying a coffee while feeling calm that everything is under control.
