I captured this image a while ago (before lockdown) at a rock pool by the sea.
The conditions on the night were perfect, there was very little wind and no moon so the sky was dark and the stars were bright.
The spiral shape was made completely by hand using a Nitecore P26 torch attached to a blue acrylic tube with an orange M&M's container taped on the end (check out my instagram for pix of the tool). The P26 is great as it allows me precise control over the torch brightness so I was able to dim it down quite low (so as to not over expose the image due to the high ISO setting of the camera).
This is a single exposure:
10mm, f/4.5
ISO-3200, 43secs
