What kind of mindset do you have?
There are some people who have the fixed mindset over the growth mindset.
Before we dive into it, let's know what each mindset mean.
The ones with fixed mindset believe that it's either they are good at something or they are not. And that if they are talented at something, it's for life. They cannot improve or their skill can never degrade.
These kind of people fear challenges and shy away from trying new things or even leaving their comfort zone.
How about the ones with the growth mindset?
These are people who believe they can grow if they build themselves, read more, and they believe in hardwork, consistency and effort.
These ones see challenges as an avenue to grow and be skillful. People with the growth mindset are likely to succeed more than people with a fixed mindset.
Life is not static, which means growth is a part of life. Learning continues until a person's last breath that's why one shouldn't be comfortable with what they've known for years.
Our mindset determines how far we can go in life. Never be satisfied in your comfort zone. Evolve, grow, expand your horizon of knowledge. If possible, visit new places, learn new skills or improve your old skills. These are the things that make you stand out among your equals.
No matter how skilled you are, you can always be better. Ever wanted to learn swimming, play a musical instruments, fashion design, digital tech and so much?
Ever felt like you can never be good at it? Then it's about time to trash the fixed mindset and embrace the growth mindset. Truth is, you can push through anything you set your mind to.
Chin up, head high.. Tell yourself you can make it and watch how you'll soar at it.
Always remember that effort yield good result and hard work brings dignity.
