Communities of the past, in the real world, have been replaced by what? We all have the same 24 / 7 / 365. What are we doing with our time? Whole posts have and will be written in response.
Indeed, I believe it would take a whole post to cover it all. Neighbours who barely know each other any more, women who used to chat over the fence and keep neighbourhood communities connected are now in the work force. Even work places have workers travelling in from all over the place rather than employing locals, so they'll rarely meet outside of work.
Please let me know if you post on this, I'd love to read it.
Does making excuses rather than take personal responsibility for our actions seem to be a steadily increasing trend?
I believe so. Social media certainly seems to enforce that type of behaviour as well.
25 years of age. The age when a child truly becomes an adult?
Brain development wise that seems to be the consensus. Here in Australia when it comes to welfare parents are classed as financial supporters of their child until they turn 25, even if they leave home.
