Tell us why you are here, with a personal story!
Maybe the first answer would be: because my parents told me to be here 😄 hahahahahaha... and although it contains a whole truth, I think it is not as simple as that, but it is an important starting point because I am here as a result of the conjunction of life and love, and a product of that “continuum” that is existence.
Before I continue with my answer, I would like to make an aside because when I made the translation of the question I had a doubt as to whether it was oriented to the “Why” or “What for? both deep and interesting questions whose approach may have common points, however, I consider that the first would have to do more with the origin or those reasons that underlie our presence in the world, and the second, would lean more towards the purpose or north of our lives; perhaps I am philosophizing more than necessary, but in this dilemma I think that my answer will collect a little of both perspectives.
Reflecting on why I am here leads me to consider the multiple layers that have woven my existence and all those causalities that brought me here. In an “existentialist” sense I consider that I am here as part of that vast and mysterious enigma that is life, or as they say, part of that “stardust” that spread millions of years ago and formed life as we know it, the result of that marvelous and intricate dance of life whose cosmic phenomena we still do not know despite a whole history of searching.

¿Por qué y para qué estoy aquí? Tengo días haciéndome esta pregunta desde que leí la propuesta para esta semana en la invitación Thoughtful Thursday Prompt #43, y previo a responder… o tal vez divagar en torno a ella, quiero compartirles la pregunta planteada:
Tal vez la primera respuesta sería: porque mis padres así lo dispusieron 😆 jajajajaja… y aunque encierra toda una verdad, creo que no es tan simple como eso, pero resulta un punto importante de partida porque estoy aquí como resultado de la conjunción de la vida y el amor, y producto de ese “continuo” que es la existencia.
Antes de proseguir con mi respuesta, me gustaría hacer un inciso porque cuando hice la traducción de la pregunta me saltó la duda respecto a si estaba orientada al ¿Por qué? o el ¿Para qué?, ambas preguntas profundas e interesantes cuyo abordaje tal vez tenga puntos comunes, sin embargo, considero que la primera tendría que ver más con el origen o esas razones que subyacen de nuestra presencia en el mundo, y la segunda, se inclinaría más hacia el propósito o norte de nuestras vidas; tal vez este filosofando más de la cuenta, pero ante este dilema creo que mi respuesta recogerá un poco de ambas perspectivas.
Reflexionar sobre ¿por qué estoy aquí? me lleva a considerar las múltiples capas que han tejido mi existencia y todas esas causalidades que me trajeron hasta aquí. En un sentido “existencialista” considero que estoy aquí como parte de ese vasto y misterioso enigma que es la vida, o como dicen por ahí, parte de ese “polvo de estrellas” que se esparció hace millones de años y formaron la vida como la conocemos, resultado de esa maravillosa e intrincada danza de la vida cuyos fenómenos cósmicos aún desconocemos a pesar de toda una historia de búsqueda.
Now, from a more personal perspective, I could say that I am here as a result of that family history and the ties that were woven between my parents and with whom I am linked today in a relationship of care, love and infinite gratitude. This primordial connection has sown in me the importance of care, responsibility and the value of bonds; and thanks to this opportunity of life that they gave me, I was able to procreate my children, who are that little engine that drives me every day to move forward, to strive hard to provide them with a path of experiences and learning that will lead them to be good men.
I have always had an innate inclination to seek balance, equity and the defense of what I consider fair and right, this led me to become a lawyer and in part, has marked a trend of “protection” and “care” for those I feel most vulnerable, in this sense, My for what is reflected in this constant struggle to assert both my rights and those of others, and I must confess that it has been a cornerstone of my learning because it “pisses me off” and makes me angry about unfair situations, although it does not affect me as much as it used to.
Precisely that discomfort that caused me to see things “unfair” or “wrong” led me to seek other paths because I felt no peace when I did not resonate with the world I saw full of so much imbalance, so I walked the path of holistic therapies, I trained in different disciplines such as Reiki, Radiestesia, A Course in Miracles, Metaphysics, Meditation, Mindfulness, Coaching, NLP, Tai Chi and more recently, Biodanza teacher, looking for that inner balance that would take me away from the discomfort I had and also, greater understanding of human nature.
My own healing on that journey, my desire to share with others what I experienced in all those disciplines, and after having been on the edge of death on a couple of occasions, are powerful reasons for my presence here and at the same time one of those answers as to why, as all this intertwined leads me to believe that I am here to serve as a means of healing and growth for those who resonate with my proposal of integration of mind, body, energy and spirit.

Ahora bien, desde una perspectiva más personal, podría decir que estoy aquí como resultado de esa historia familiar y los lazos que se entretejieron entre mis padres y con quienes me vinculo hoy día en una relación de cuidado, amor y gratitud infinita. Esta conexión primigenia ha sembrado en mi la importancia del cuidado, la responsabilidad y el valor de los vínculos; y gracias a esa oportunidad de vida que me dieron, pude a su vez procrear a mis hijos, quienes son ese motorcito que me impulsan cada día a seguir adelante, a esforzarme mucho por proveerles un camino de experiencias y aprendizajes que los lleven a ser hombres de bien.
Siempre he tenido una inclinación innata a buscar el equilibrio, la equidad y la defensa por aquello que considero justo y correcto, esto me llevo a formarme como abogada y en parte, ha marcado una tendencia de “protección” y “cuidado” por aquellos que siento más vulnerables, en este sentido, mi para qué se ve reflejado en esa lucha constante por hacer valer tanto mis derechos, como de los otros y debo confesar que ha sido a su vez, una piedra angular de mis aprendizajes porque me “revienta” y saca de quicio las situaciones injustas, aunque ya no me afecta tanto como antes.
Precisamente ese malestar que me causaba ver cosas “injustas” o “incorrectas” me llevaron a buscar otros caminos porque no sentía nada de paz cuando no resonaba con el mundo que veía lleno de tanto desequilibrio, así transité el camino de las terapias holísticas, me formé en diferentes disciplinas como el Reiki, Radiestesia, Un Curso de Milagros, Metafísica, Meditación, Mindfullness, Coaching, PNL, Taichí y más recientemente, profesora de Biodanza, buscando ese equilibrio interno que me alejara del malestar que tenía y también, mayor comprensión de la naturaleza humana.
Mi propia sanación en ese viaje, mi deseo de compartir con otros lo que experimenté en todas esas disciplinas, y tras haber estado al filo de la muerte en un par de ocasiones, son razones poderosas de mi presencia aquí y a la vez una de esas respuestas de para qué, ya que todo esto entrelazado me lleva a creer que estoy aquí para servir como un medio de sanación y crecimiento para aquellos que resuenen con mi propuesta de integración de la mente, el cuerpo, la energía y el espíritu.
