I haven't been following the story. I know very little about it. @edicted is doing some interesting work on the story as it unfolds, go check his recent posts out. Links are below.
I skim MSM information about Luigi without thinking too deeply, because I know for sure that story is likely to be mostly lies.
But I do have some thoughts around the event that I would love to discuss, should anyone want to do that with me.
Here goes:
Please begin to see the patterns of the stories we are told, over and over again. A guy, much like someone you know, happens to have gone off the deep end recently, and to have access to sophisticated or unusual firearms. The guy is pissed about something many of us are pissed about, and starts shooting. He actually kills people, people much like people you know, or maybe a lot like you. This dude has managed to get firearms into heavily secure places undetected (think Las Vegas for one), long enough to take a few children or partiers, or business men, or pedestrians, out. He has a manifesto stashed somewhere easy to find, so you know exactly what he was thinking and why he did it. He planned the shooting out meticulously. But he forgot to plan his escape, and gets either dead or caught with lots of incriminating evidence. Calls for gun control flood the airwaves.
I do not care, any longer, what our MSM sources say about these events. They clearly follow a template that is designed to make us think our next-door neighbor could suddenly snap and start shooting. Possibly at you.
This is population control via fear.
I am delighted to see people paying more attention to this story. Some have noticed that the shooter’s social media accounts changed after the suspect was in custody. I have seen this happen before.
Hopefully more of us will be able to see that the news is not to be trusted on these events, and to extrapolate that the news is just as false on just about any other news they print.
Yeah yeah we are all pissed at insurance companies that don’t pay for the expensive and sadistic tests, and expensive and sadistic procedures your doctors tell you are the only way to make you better from whatever you’ve got to deal with health-wise. Greedy bastards won’t use your neighbor’s money, which he pays to his insurance company in the form of premiums, for medical care that will bankrupt you, if it doesn’t kill you first. Actually, often your "care" manages to do both, so that your heirs get nothing after going through your horrible and untimely death.
We are blaming the wrong entity.
Instead of being pissed that someone else's insurance "premiums" are not paying your medical costs, why not be pissed that those costs are so high in the first place? That the steroids your doctor has prescribed for your IBS has destroyed your bones so that you need regular expensive irradiating bone scans to see if your bones are getting even weaker? Why not be pissed that the doctor doesn’t have a less expensive and sadistic treatment for your arthritis, other than surgery? Why are you not pissed that the new thyroid condition began after you started taking statins to reduce a slightly high cholesterol level? Why are you not pissed that you had to have a costly and sadistic colonoscopy after you’d taken too many NSAIDS, on the advice of your doctor? That the whipple your doctors told you you needed ASAP, the surgery that rendered you a cripple for life, both emotionally and physically, the whipple that cost you tens of thousands of dollars despite your having really “good” insurance, turned out to have been the wrong surgery (oopsies!), and that now you need another expensive, sadistic and dangerous turn under the knife?
Why are we not pissed that most of us will be told we need pharmaceuticals for this or that condition for the rest of our lives?
Why are we not pissed that our medical model doesn't even try to cure us - they tell us that can't even be done - but rather is making us sicker, not well?
We are demanding our right to have these absurd costs, for harmful treatments, be paid for.
Diseases like ours do not exist in nature.
We must start demanding our right to be healthy.
Conclusion
We are being distracted by this event.
