Autism, the word itself, is unique, and it has its own identity. An autistic child always reminds us of the perfect and how blessed we are. Autistic children are less blessed than we; they are not perfect as required, as they have no control, and they won’t be reasonable for that. Unfortunately, they are still neglected in our society, where we are well aware of our human rights, and are fighting for human rights in these modern days. Somehow, it is a big shame for society. Autistic children are also neglected in their own families, especially the poor and village people. They treat them as a curse and a bad omen for themselves. Although it is too hard for them to properly take care, where they are fighting against hunger, they are living hand to mouth. In some cases, we can also see some exceptions, but they can’t be an example. Some NGO’s are doing a good job, they are arranging food, medical, and educational help for the autistic children. Also, they are doing family counseling for autism, raising awareness in society, unfortunately, the government has not taken any good or appropriate initiative for the autistic children. In some countries, the government issues a few financial allowances for autistic children or for families, which are not sufficient at all. The government should take a large number of initiatives for the autistic children and also for their families. Raising awareness could bring a good result. Adult autistics are also a big headache, and we should consider them politely. Autism should be treated as a national responsibility, and all of us should be participants to contribute to it for the betterment. For me, April is “Autism Acceptance Month” is a great idea and a good initiative from this perspective.
There is no child or adult in my family or friends who has autism. From this point of view, I could be well blessed, but I always feel their existence in our society. I had a great concern for the autistic child. I don’t wish to see a new autistic child anymore, and it should stop. I wish to relieve the world of this terrible disease. The autistic children are also too pathetic in some cases, which is not describable. In some cases, I felt thrilled and found myself selfish. As a human being, I have some responsibility for the autistic children. Due to some unavoidable circumstances, I had a lack of contribution to those autistic children. Sometimes I feel guilty because of my lack of contribution regarding this autistic child or for his family. I always tried to donate to those types of foundations or NGO’s that are working with autism. The amount of the donation, maybe small, but I am still trying and continuing to donate and contribute to this segment. I wish to take more initiative for the betterment of the autistic children in the near future.
All children are the same, I don’t wish to divide them in class, and I’ve an allergy to mentioning them as autistic, the sounds not good. Now, people and technology are more advanced, awareness about autism is growing, and some good examples are also found in society nowadays. Now, autistic children are playing internationally, and people are contributing their efforts, which is appreciable. Autistic children are disabled in some aspects, but they are also good in some aspects, which makes them awesome. Those who are contributing to the betterment of autism and raising awareness in society, fighting against this terrible disease, I salute them all and honor them from my heart. I wish to spare some time, donate a little more, and be a part of their journey within my limit.
