I joined Hive just over 2 years ago on 6th June 2021.
I remember how crazy it all seemed at the time, and truth be told, I think the crazy just intensifies in some ways.😂It always feels like the more I know, the more I know how little I know lolol.
Hive is truly a microcosm of the world. Whale wars rage while a quiet and still #speekpeece movement gathers in the background (ok there are just a few of us doing our 5 breaths a day haha - not sure how the rest of you are surviving!😂)
But outside of the above, artistic beauty, creative prose, lyrical poetry, and daily blog posts, among others, are everywhere to be found - so many different people with different interests, all engaging, and connecting - and we all find our tribes in the end.
I found mine initially in the Proof of Brain Community where I met some wonderful writers who were all taking part in the infamous POB-WOTW by @calumam. Not long after that, I found, or to be more accurate, was found by Dreemport and the rest is history...
I am a #dreemerforlife. I follow my passions and one of my main ones is writing fiction and poetry - so communities like The Ink Well, Scholar and Scribe, Cinnamoncupcoffee and BlockchainPoets draw me in regularly. I also enjoy posting in ThoughtfulDailyPost and a few other communities when the post fits.
From my very early days on Hive, when I saw how challenging it was to get going, I knew I wanted to help others and have fun doing it. Dreemport has brought that in bucketloads for me and I am proud to be an Ambassador for the project and the community.
This month is no different as we collaborate with the #heyhavyamet team to shine a light on new Hivers and do what we can to get to know them and support them while taking part in fun team challenges.
Our little team consists of 5 people, 3 newbies, one senior newbie hehe and me... (but... I still consider myself a baby Hiver in the grand scheme of things - I learn new things every day that I am here!). It's extra special because my eldest son is taking part and I am super proud of him! 💗
I am very much looking forward to supporting our little team and the other teams around us as we all work together to support new Hivers grow in knowledge this month, settle in, and most importantly have fun doing it.
