Beginning from the year 2020, my life was almost around a standstill, but I was working hard to get into the university back then but it just felt like I was doing the same thing over and over. I remember I put in extra effort than usual because I wasn’t a fan of asking for help just to pass an exam because if I need help at that level then I might need a lot more in the university too. It was hard, life was hard for me then but there was one thing that kept me going, a quote from the Bible that says “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”. Well, I know I wrote a major exam in 2020 and I was really lucky my results were good. I wanted to apply that year to a university but unfortunately for me, most schools went into strike and I lost track of my application and I didn’t apply
Sunday Reflection: What We Actually USE Hive For by @denmarkguy
Mrs. Denmarkguy has been away in Seattle to be with our daughter who gave birth to her first child a few days ago. There were some complications, so "having grandma on hand" has been kind of important. Because the house is quieter than normal I've had some time to be in my thoughts while doing yard work, business bookkeeping and house maintenance tasks and such. Anyway, the arrival of our 4th grandchild reminded me of one of the key reasons why I felt Hive was such an attractive proposition to begin with: this whole notion of decentralization and "the immutability of the blockchain" seemed like the perfect platform or place to store stories and content you wanted to be sure was available for a long time. Historically, I have always had bad experiences with blogging/photo sites either putting up sudden paywalls, or outright shutting down, and there are few things I loathe more than seeing a bunch of time and sweat equity getting wiped of the surface of the planet, without notice

I do believe you have a need for balance in your life, and that it pays to be mindful of that balance. We are in some areas of our life. Fitness, for instance. When we've overindulged with a burger, for instance, we'll often work out to compensate. I try to make sure I do that in other areas of existence, also

Yesterday morning I woke early, knowing that the day was going to be busy. I had work to go to, then home to prepare for my youngest Daughter's birthday celebration. I woke up early, after a broken night's sleep. (I still those very clever mice in my truck and they are most active around 3/4 a.m) I stumbled out of bed, making my way outside, collecting some washing from the clothes line on my way back from the toliet. I threw them all on my bed, grapping some light cotton trousers to wear ( it's been lovely and warm these last few days)

Time is such a thing that we can't be bound. It doesn't matter how much we try. Time runs on its own, and nobody can stop it. That's why it says that if we lose time, we lose it forever. So it's good to try your best to make each day productive and thoughtful

In my daily life I've encountered such people pretending as they are clueless of their action and pretend like they did nothing wrong. It took me long enough time to realize this thing. Some people will never like you no matter what you do. People will dislike you without any reasons

Yesterday, I wrote about my approach to adversity, and today an adversity came knocking at my door. And as I dealt with it, all that occurred to me were the people around me. I’ve heard a lot of times that the people around you could make or break you, but I never really thought it was that serious until today. So my circle of friends is really small, or I could just go ahead and say triangle because they are just three. And the one thing they all possess is the ability to face adversity

I always keep that very song she used to like close, sometimes, I will sing it, just like she used to do, because, "I do not want to forget about her" I am not trying to say she was the best, there were time's she hurts me, shout at me, and I will not forget that, there were moments she cuddle me, hold my hands, and look at me in the eyes, she was someone who believed in me. I was told, it might comes up that way, but i choose to ignore, because it was so sweet to me, everytime, so, I was having no time to be thinking of stuff's like that. She did installed some changes in me, and i will say, she installed those change in the way i look at things in those days, maybe she was older than me, or something, because, I can see that our understanding were not at the same range. But now we are not together, the learning she used to give has stop at that position she gave, I wonder what will have been, if she were still with me, and the love flourish. Sometimes, I feels sad at it, and there are also moment, I understand that it was a decision she chose, no one force her to do it, so, I believe this person understand why she have to go that way, and stop it with me, than i do
What next? Forging ahead despite uncertainty. by @lara-bee
For the umpteenth time this week, I have wondered why I suddenly lost the initial excitement I had commencing my National Youth Service Corp some months ago. It was a big dream for me to put on this uniform, and I did it with pride, pushing myself through challenges and setbacks just to arrive here. I remember one particular night before I even went to the university. My dad begged me not to disappoint him because a few people around thought sending a female child to bag a degree was a waste of time and money. "I want you to prove them wrong and come back home with the khaki (a common name for the corper's uniform)," my dad's words still ring in my ears up till now, and yes, making him proud was a motivation for me to keep going
