Change is inevitable but growth is definitely optional i.e it depends on whether you want it or not....change is actually the courage to leave the good things behind and pursue the better things.
Let's use something we are familiar with as an example.....say examinations;preparing for an exam is up to you(optional) and this means you can either do something else like sleeping or you could pick up your reading materials.
Sleep is good,no doubt but if you are willing to the getter the greater good,which is Straight A's,you must be courageous enough to make that sacrifice.
Change it before you have to
One of our coordinators was telling us about good sitting posture and all,that it affects how much pain we would feel and how much our backs will ache in the nearest future.
Changing it now is still possible and much easier,changing it then when we are older would be more expensive,time-consuming and more painful(might even require a surgery)

If you can't change it,change your attitude.
Maybe the reason it's really hard for you to change a few things is because of your attitude...we must understand that there is a behavior of ours that made that situation,and so we must change that behavior or attitude so that we can see results.
Same method doesn't reap the same result
In trying to change a few things,when a formula to work on our attitude does not work, it's either we are doing it wrong or that formula is not the right one for us specifically as individuals.
You can't maintain the same attitude and expect a change...think of things like this.... everything you are now is a function of things you kept on doing in the past....so if you want a different person in the future,you work on the different things you are doing right now.

El cambio es inevitable, pero el crecimiento es definitivamente opcional, es decir, depende de si lo quieres o no... el cambio es en realidad el coraje de dejar atrás las cosas buenas y buscar las mejores.
Usemos algo con lo que estamos familiarizados como ejemplo... digamos exámenes; prepararse para un examen depende de usted (opcional) y esto significa que puede hacer otra cosa como dormir o puede recoger sus materiales de lectura.
Dormir es bueno, sin duda, pero si está dispuesto a obtener el bien mayor, que es la calificación máxima, debe ser lo suficientemente valiente como para hacer ese sacrificio.
Cámbialo antes de que tengas que hacerlo Uno de nuestros coordinadores nos estaba hablando sobre una buena postura para sentarse y todo eso, que afecta cuánto dolor sentiríamos y cuánto nos dolerá la espalda en el futuro cercano.
Cambiarlo ahora todavía es posible y mucho más fácil, cambiarlo cuando seamos mayores sería más costoso, llevaría más tiempo y sería más doloroso (incluso podría requerir una cirugía) Si no puedes cambiarlo, cambia tu actitud.
Tal vez la razón por la que es realmente difícil para ti cambiar algunas cosas es por tu actitud... debemos entender que hay un comportamiento nuestro que hizo esa situación, y entonces debemos cambiar ese comportamiento o actitud para que podamos ver resultados El mismo método no obtiene el mismo resultado Al tratar de cambiar algunas cosas, cuando una fórmula para trabajar en nuestra actitud no funciona, o lo estamos haciendo mal o esa fórmula no es la correcta para nosotros específicamente como individuos.
No puedes mantener la misma actitud y esperar un cambio... piensa en cosas como esta... todo lo que eres ahora es una función de las cosas que seguías haciendo en el pasado... así que si quieres algo diferente persona en el futuro, trabajas en las diferentes cosas que estás haciendo en este momento.
