For this weeks Show Us Your California contest by @thesocalhive I continue this musical series where I relax at home and...

If you missed them be sure to check out Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9, and Part 10.
This week I'm going back to some quintessential 90's alternative rock. Growing up in the 90's I saw rock transforming from hairbands and punk rock into a new age of alternative and grunge. Leading the grunge scene were bands like Nirvana and Soundgarden, but one of the newer bands in that era was an English band called Bush. I'll never forget when I got their first album 'Sixteen Stone'. They were just starting to blow up on the scene and me and my friends were all listening to it. And one of the really killer tunes off that first album was this song that I'm going to cover here today.. 'Glycerine'. I hope you enjoy it!

And you can find the official version here, but I'm gonna share my favorite version. MTV Spring Break 1996, live in the pouring rain!

And so until next time...
I hope you have enjoyed this glimpse into
My California!!
