Student life is known as the best time of life, and the experience of student life is indeed beautiful. But in student life, we need to face exams, and "exam" is another name for fear for most of the students, and because of it many students feel nervous. I heard a quote, which was, "Student life is fun; it would be more fun if there were no exams."
Feeling nervous before the exam is very normal, but the nervousness can be overcome through confidence, and the confidence comes from the best preparation for the exam or from hard work. I finished all my academic exams as the topper, and there were only a few times I was nervous about the examination. I was prepared or not, but the exam itself is another name for pressure.
I was very serious about my study, and there was no chance for me that I was not prepared for the exam. What made me confident to face my examination? Are you curious to know?
I think hard work and continuous effort for study are the first requirements to make one confident. There is no alternative option for it. If you think you can do well by reading only a few days, then you are only dreaming. Confidence grows based on your hard work, and it cannot come to you within a few days when it comes to exams. So the first suggestion is to prepare lessons on a continuous basis and don't try to deceive yourself. It will automatically boost your confidence, and the confidence will reduce the nervousness before the exam time for sure.
Before the exam, it is necessary to review everything we learned. In my case, I used to make notes where I highlighted the important points. In some exams, it was not possible to cover everything within a short time, and in that case, the notes became helpful because in that case I could only focus on the important points, and I didn't need to read everything from books. I mean the unnecessary topics. The notes were very useful in saving a lot of time.
Let's talk about what I used to do before the exam day. Before the day of the exam, there is no reason for me to go outside of my home. Because I think I need to make every moment useful for revising. I would not go to play with anyone because it was not necessary for me, and studying was my priority compared to playing outside. The more I read, the more confident I became, for example.
Instead of preparing well, sometimes I used to feel that I couldn't remember anything, and that made me nervous. In that case, I used to consult myself, saying I would be able to remember everything in the examination, and it would happen.
Normally, I am used to sleeping more during the time of exams because I think of the preparation for exams from earlier, and during the time of exams, I just need to revise and face the exam. Having a good mood and good health are requirements, and sleep is very important before the examination.
If you feel nervous, then I think you should stop thinking about it. It's because the more you think, the more nervous you will become. Just believe in yourself. And then the other thing is you should be careful about your mood. If your mood is ruined by something, it can be troublesome.
