Hello everyone so excited to be a part of this community 🥰
Gaining admission into the university was a dream come true for me.During my ss classes I've always been desirous of being in the university and to be called “a student”.
I've always thought it's going to be so fun filled, you know…..wearing mofti to school, not being flogged or punished by your lecturers.Little did I know that what I was going to face is more than these.
School is interesting and fun despite the huddles and stress. The fact that I have to go to school based on lecture schedule is very interesting .
Let's talk about the part of having to wake up as early 5:00am on days I have an early morning class by 8:00am hmmmmmmmm😔, it's not quite a big deal for me because I used to wake up that early in my parents house to prepare myself and my siblings for school but then I thought I was going to have a relief when i start living alone not knowing my lecturers are after me😁.
Guess the annoying part…….after all the struggles I'll finally arrive school only for the hall to be filled up with other students ,when I ask someone to adjust for me I'll be told “sorry the seat is for my friend”and that's to say I'll have to stand all through the HOURS of the lecture.
After all the stress of running around in school, trekking from one lecture venue to another and standing for hours. I'll be so excited to get back home of course but then when I remember I didn't have cooked food hmmmm 🥺my joy is gone cause I won't stop thinking of how I'll arrive home to start cooking when I'm so hungry and exhausted 🥱 and then I'll remember my secondary school days when I was living with my family,my mom will always make sure that lunch is served even before we arrive home. Where are those days? Home sweet home🥰.
This is how my days keep going in school ,but in all of these I do always have fun with my friends🥰especially on days we don't have much lectures and they always tend to make me forget about the stress.
University life is demanding, but it teaches time management, independence, and responsibility—skills that shape me for the future.
