Hello there and welcome to my hive space.
I am bipolar95 but then my real identity is Igbogidi E Danielle (IED), from Nigeria and I like to look at life from the perspective people shy away from.
My views might seem a bit extreme, but then a careful look at it reveals a whole truth about human existence that you never thought is possible.
Noticed how my username raises questions? Lol my sister @Fredaig also a member of this platform kept asking me “why would you choose such a name?” Remember I told you your username is your identity and your reputation, she’s probably thinking people might perceive me as mentally troubled because who answers bipolar right? Then I explained to her; every human being have two opposite emotions, we are either happy or sad and it gets to a time where our emotions of either ways can be very overwhelming and it’s a completely normal human phenomenon that we all experience, it is known as the concept of duality and that’s bipolar.
However, it becomes a thing of concern when we no longer have control over our emotions. I don’t think whatever we can control should cause a scare or panic. Bipolar is termed a mental disorder when either of these emotions starts controlling us. My phrase of all time is “You control your emotions, they do not control you”, this phrase has always given me some sort of balance whenever I’m going overboard with either emotions I’m feeling at the time.
BACK TO MY HIVETRO
I have been on hive for about a week now or more, just trying to get used to the place and know what it’s all about. The first thing that caught my attention and made me fall inlove with this community is how supportive the community is. Everyone sharing their inner thought, exchanging opinions and constantly learning a thing or two. It’s really a safe place I must say and since I have been here despite not being fully active, I get some sort of calm soothing vibe anytime I log in here and I always imagine it to be a park with lots of trees and green vegetation with singing birds and I’m just taking a walk, enjoying the moment.
My sister @Fredaig introduced me to hive and she told me how much fun I could have sharing my thoughts through writing and posting here, even though I’m not really a fan of writing and would prefer a verbal discussion. But honestly, she’s not wrong about the fun part because I have read a couple of post and intros and it seemed to have sucked me into another existence of reality.
I already feel at peace and in alignment coming on hive. It’s like an escape from my already jam packed life and I’m sure would be improving my writing skills reading and following all you fine people.
To further get me accustomed to the hive community, my sist gave me a list of @erikah newbies post and the first i read was Communities Explained-newbie Guild.
Thank you @erikah because this post here really gave me a wider picture of what hive is all about and was really helpful too, because some of my intending activities on hive as per my other social media experiences seem to be against the hive guidelines lol no I’m not a rebel.
Anyhoo… I still got lots of his post to educate myself with and am taking my time to read and learn, better to dip a toe in than dive whole in.
A SNEAK PEAK ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 5ft 10 inches 28years old, an economist by profession first and second degree, a developmental Economist if I might add. As someone from a 3rd world country, I am quit fascinated by the concept of poverty, you’d be reading a lot from me concerning it, it’s ravaging effect and why do people from the 3rd world think the way they do. I am also a social worker per time and our activities include educating, clothing and providing shelter for the less privileged.
My hobbies include but not limited to eating and experimenting with food.. it’s safe to call me a foodie lol.
I am not heavy on fashion or makeup but I have one or two ideas. Personally, I’d prefer looking natural and homeless that’s my comfy moment lol.

PS

I am a mom of an adorable angel I like to call parrot because she never stops talking and wanting to be heard. Every moment with her gives me a better understanding about myself and who I am. Would be documenting a lot of our activities here and how children are a reflection of us and a future to our planet earth.
I’m really looking forward to an amazing learning time here and a big thank you to the developers and sustainers of this platform, thank you for this amazing opportunity.
