I have to take a lot of care of my skin. After having done outpatient dermatological treatment with my dermatologist for the spots on my face, I have to take care of the sun's rays.
So in my daily routine, whether I leave my house or not, I apply sunscreen every morning after cleansing my face. I tell you an anecdote with a friend who asked me these days: what I used on my face because I had no wrinkles*. Friends, that gave me a good laugh. The truth is that the only thing I use is sunscreen.
In the month of December I ran out of the sunscreen I normally use, since the ones recommended by my Dermatologist I couldn't find them in the pharmacies in the area and I was using a 50 SPF UVA-UVB creamy water resistant, moisturizing and antioxidant one.
That same month I decided to buy another sunscreen with extra money. Why? I wanted to take advantage of the fact that I had more money and so I went to a more complete pharmacy, to see if I could find one with more protection and better quality. The truth is that being there I found a variety of brands and prices.
I didn't know what to do with so many brands, so I decided to ask the sales advisors in the cosmetics area. That day the advisor recommended me one that corresponds to a new brand since I had not seen it in the market. One of the benefits of this sunscreen was that it has a Sun Protection Factor of 100, UVA/UVB and non-greasy 120 cm3.
In addition to the price, volume and protection qualities it was comparably better than the one I was using. Among its benefits it offers is that it is antioxidant, with vitamin E and its continued use prevents premature skin aging. Reading these and more attributes, I did not hesitate to buy it.
But after more than a month of use I notice and feel that the skin on my face is a little dry. What am I doing differently. The only thing is the Sunscreen. Folks, I read the directions on the outside of the bottle and it's water-based. That is, it is not water resistant.
Consequently, my skin needs to be hydrated and moisturized. For this, I bought a Pons S cream in the past few days, which was what was within my reach. This is a cream that is used when I am at home. But my experience with this Protector is that although I feel that it protects me from the sun's rays it does not provide moisture to my skin.
I really think and it is something I need to check with my dermatologist. Which one of these that are available in the market based on the price I am willing to pay, would be the most recommendable for my skin type. For the time being, since I don't have any other, I am still placing this one until I can purchase the one my doctor recommends.
My advice to people who are going to buy cosmetics on their own, it is important to have a good and safe advice, guidance and specialized recommendation before making an investment in skin products. Especially if it comes to the product that in my opinion is the most important for our skin in this type of weather, the SUNSCREEN.
Consequently, I recommend reading carefully the ingredients and compounds that these products contain. Since they can also cause allergies or even provoke or aggravate the conditions and characteristics of our skin.
Friends of @Skinbodycare, skin is for life, and it is so important that we pay attention and care. Sunscreen is the skincare product that I consider essential to have in our home. Even if we do not have other products, without any doubt this one should not be missing.

Hola a todos mis amigos HIVERS de @skinbodycare, que gusto saludarlos y estar aquí compartiendo mi experiencia al cuidado de mi piel, especialmente el área de la cara y cuello.
Son muchas los cuidados que tengo que tener con mi piel. Después de haberme hecho tratamiento dermatológico ambulatorio con mi dermatóloga por las manchas en la cara, la que debo cuidarme de los rayos del sol.
Es así que en mi rutina diaria salga o no salga de mi casa todas las mañanas después de limpiar mi cara me coloco protector solar. Les cuento una anécdota con una amiga que me preguntó en estos días: qué usaba en la cara porque no tenía arrugas*. Amigos eso me dió mucha risa. La verdad que lo único que uso es el Protector Solar.
En el mes de Diciembre se me terminó el protector solar que normalmente uso, ya que los recomendados por mi Dermatólogo no los encontré en las farmacias de la zona y estaba usando uno de 50 FPS UVA-UVB cremoso resistente al agua, humectante y antioxidante. .
En ese mismo mes decidí comprar; con un dinero extra otro protector. ¿Por qué?. Quería aprovechar que disponía más de dinero y es así que me dirigí una farmacia más completa, a ver si encontraba uno de mayor protección y de mejor calidad. La verdad que estando allí encontré una variedad de marcas y precios.
No sabía qué hacer ante tantas marcas, así que me dispuse preguntar a las asesoras de ventas en el área de cosméticos. Ese día la asesora me recomendó uno que corresponde a una marca nueva ya que no lo había visto en el mercado. Es así que este protector entre los beneficios era que el Factor de Protección Solar es de 100, UVA/UVB y no graso de 120 cm3.
Además del precio, volumen y las cualidades de protección era comparablemente mejor que el que estaba usando. Entre sus beneficios que ofrece es que es antioxidante, con vitamina E y su continuo uso previene el envejecimiento cutáneo prematuro. Leyendo estos y más atributos, no dudé en comprarlo.
Pero después de más de un mes de uso me doy cuenta y siento que la piel de mi cara está un poco seca. ¿Que estoy haciendo diferente?. Lo único es el Protector Solar. Amigos, me puse a leer las indicaciones que trae en la parte exterior del envase y es que a base de agua. Es decir, no es resistente al agua.
En consecuencia, mi piel requiere ser hidratada y humectada. Para ello, adquirí en días pasados una crema S de Pons que era lo que estaba a mi alcance. Esta es una crema que se usa cuando estoy en casa. Pero mi experiencia con este Protector es que aunque me siento que me protege de los rayos del sol no proporciona humedad a mi piel.
Realmente pienso y es algo que debo consultar con mi dermatóloga. Cuál de éstos que están disponibles en el mercado en función al precio que estoy dispuesta a pagar, sería lo más recomendable para mi tipo de piel. Por lo pronto, cómo no tengo ningún otro, sigo colocando éste hasta que pueda adquirir el que recomiende mi doctora.
Mi consejo a las personas que van a adquirir cosméticos por su cuenta es importante contar con una buena y segura asesoría, orientación y recomendación especializada antes de hacer una inversión en productos para la piel. Especialmente si se trata del producto que a mí parecer es el más importante para nuestra piel en este tipo de clima el PROTECTOR SOLAR.
En consecuencia, recomiendo a su vez, leer con detenimiento los ingredientes y compuestos que estos productos contienen. Ya que además pueden causarnos alergias o inclusive provocar o agravar las condiciones y características de nuestra piel.
Amigos de @Skinbodycare, la piel es para toda la vida, y es tan importante que prestemos atención y cuidado. El Protector Solar es el producto para la piel que considero imprescindible disponer en nuestra casa. Aunque no dispongamos de otros productos, sin ninguna duda que éste no debería faltar.
