Marcos, un señor que conocimos aqui en esta ciudad muy amablemente nos regaló hace un par de días miel y limones para mejorar nuestra gripe.
Él nos explicó también que hay una medicamento natural llamado Propólis que es muy bueno para aumentar la inmunidad además de desinflamar la garganta. Que comprarla en su presentación de Propólis Verde sería lo mejor pues esta tiene más benefícios que la versión Propólis Marrón.
Yo ya había escuchado un poco sobre el Propólis, que tomarlo en ayunas con limón y azafrán es bueno para desinflamar... Canela, azafrán y Propólis aumentas la inmunidad... Pero no lo había comprado pues era un producto que jamáz había probado. Pero luego de que Marcos nos insistió en comprarlo, accedimos a la idea.
Al día siguiente me sentía un poco mejor y como buena turista coloqué en google maps "farmacias" y fui a averiguar valores con el fin de comprarlo.

After doing some research, I found that honey and Propolis are two different things. Lo compré en gotas, la recomendación es de diluir 20 gotas en medio vaso de agua tibia y tomar. Yo lo he hecho con té de limón y miel.
¿Funciona? ¿Qué benefícios he obtenido?
Tengo unos 4 días tomandolo por la mañana y por la tarde. No han sido muchos días pero te puedo hablar de al menos dos benefícios que he notado:
Desinflama la garganta, con la gripe es normal tener la garganta irritada pero desde el primer uso noté como refresca la garganta, genera una sensación de alivio -su sabor no es mentolado, más bien tiene un toque cítrico-. Me gusta tomarlo pues siento que me alivia bastante la garganta.
El segundo benefício no tiene nada que ver con la gripe, estos días estoy a visperas de cómo dice @maridmc "la visita mensual". Normalmente estos días previos comienza a aparecer algo de acné en mi rostro: frente, cachetes y barbilla. Pero esta vez tengo la cara limpia, no tengo ninguna espinilla y creo que se debe a el propólis pues te digo que esa es mi formula constante de TPM: Espinillas. Así que hurra! por eso 😁.
Normalmente prefiero tomar cosas naturales a medicamentos, pero claro también escucho a mi cuerpo y hago uso de la medicina convencional, no soy extremista en esto. Por eso creo que el propólis será algo que voy a tener en casa como aliado. Quiero investigar más y ver que otros usos puedo darle.
También leí que hay personas que pueden ser alergicas, así que si te animas a probarlo ten cuidado y ante cualquier reacción alergica ve al médico.

I’ve been taking it for about 4 days, in the morning and afternoon. It hasn’t been many days, but I can tell you about at least two benefits I’ve noticed:
Throat inflammation relief: With a cold, it’s normal to have an irritated throat, but from the first use, I noticed how it soothes my throat and provides a feeling of relief. The taste is not mentholated but has a slightly citrusy flavor. I like taking it because it significantly eases my throat discomfort.
The second benefit is unrelated to the cold. These days, I’m on the verge of what @maridmc calls "the monthly visit." Normally, during these days, I start to get some acne on my face: forehead, cheeks, and chin. But this time, my face is clear, with no pimples, and I believe it's due to the propolis because acne is my constant premenstrual syndrome symptom. So hooray for that 😁.
I usually prefer taking natural remedies over medications, but I also listen to my body and use conventional medicine when needed. I’m not extreme about it. That’s why I think propolis will be something I keep at home as an ally. I want to research more and see what other uses it has.
