Diesmal gibt es wieder einen kurzen Rückblick und spannende Neuigkeiten. In den vergangenen Tagen wurde bei den User-Shops in Upland eine Rekordmarke überschritten. Das zweite Kapitel des Totem Reveals wurde angekündigt. Die Spekulationen bezüglich einer anstehenden großen Ankündigung in Upland gehen weiter. Und zum Abschluß ein Hinweis auf einen gut dotierten Book Cover Design Contest.

This time, there's a brief recap and exciting news. In recent days, a record milestone was reached at the User Shops in Upland. There's news regarding the next totem reveal. Speculations about a major upcoming announcement in Upland continue. Lastly, a note on a well-endowed Book Cover Design Contest.

Bereits über 1.000 Metaventures in Upland
- Eine Schallmauer wurde durchbrochen. Es gibt bereits mehr als 1000 der von Spielern betriebenen Metaventures in Upland. Metaventures sind Shops, in denen bestimmte Arten von Legits an andere Spieler im Game verkauft werden können. Zuletzt wurde die Anmeldeprozedur für die Vergabe der Shops an Spieler, die einen solchen betreiben wollen, optimiert. Insgesamt konnte so die Genehmigungsdauer, also die Zeit zwischen der Beantragung eines Shops bis zur Genehmigung extrem verkürzt werden.
- Anläßlich dieses Meilensteins gab es einen Metaventure-Raid, bei dem es darum ging Metaventures zu besuchen und Items zu kaufen. Zu gewinnen gab es virtuelle Grundstücke in Chicago.

Ankündigung zum Totem Reveal Chapter 2
- Früher als von vielen Spielern erwartet kommt das zweite Chapter des Totem Reveals und damit der Verkauf der nächsten Mystery Pässe. Ging es im ersten Chapter um Palmen und Drachenfliegen, geht es diesmal um Tukane und Wölfe.

Die Spekulationen wurden angeheizt
- Wie bereits zuletzt berichtet, gibt es Überlegungen, was es mit der Ankündigung auf sich hat, dass es bald großartige News in Upland offenbart werden. Die Einblendung von Jeff Goldblum im Video, das im letzten Beitrag verlinkt war, interpretieren manche so, dass Dinosaurier in Upland kommen könnten. Dreht es sich gar um einen Jurassic Park in Upland?

Großer Book Cover Design Contest
- Noch bis zum 30. September läuft der Wettbewerb, bei dem es um die Gestaltung des Covers des Buches "Our Upland" geht. Dotiert ist der Wettbewerb mit 1.000 WAX und 1 Million UPX (umgerechnet 1.000 USD). Das Gewinner-Design wird von S.C. Mero unter allen Einsendungen ermittelt. Bei der Jurorin handelt es sich um eine renommierte Galeristin, Kuratorin und Künstlerin aus Los Angeles.

Already over 1,000 metaventures in Upland
- A sound barrier was broken. There are already more than 1,000 of the player-run metaventures in Upland. Metaventures are shops where certain types of Legits can be sold to other players in the game. Most recently, the registration procedure for allocating shops to players who want to run one has been optimized. Overall, the approval period, i.e. the time between the application for a shop and the approval, was extremely shortened.
- On the occasion of this milestone there was a metaventure raid where the aim was to visit metaventures and buy items. Virtual properties in Chicago were up for grabs.

Totem Reveal Chapter 2 Announcement
- The second chapter of the Totem Reveal is coming sooner than many players expected and with it the sale of the next Mystery Passes. While the first chapter was about palm trees and dragon flies, this time it's about toucans and wolves.

The speculation has been fueled
- As previously reported, there is some thought surrounding the announcement that big news will soon be revealed in Upland. Some interpret Jeff Goldblum's inclusion in the video linked in the last update to mean that dinosaurs could come to Upland. Is it even about a Jurrasic Park in Upland?

Big Book Cover Design Contest
- The competition to design the cover of the book “Our Upland” runs until September 30th. The competition is endowed with 1,000 WAX and 1 million UPX (equivalent to 1,000 USD). The winning design will be created by S.C. Mero will be selected from all submissions. The juror is a renowned gallery owner, curator and artist from Los Angeles.
