Die Tokyo Collections wurden bekannt gegeben und die Tokyo Thrifty Trader Challenge hat begonnen. Zudem gab es einen Block Explorer Sale, Änderungen im Car Racing und die Vorstellung eines neuen Shoptyps. Die größten News betreffen allerdings die Ankündigung, dass mit Anfang September die Totems ins Spiel kommen.

The Tokyo Collections have been announced and the Tokyo Thrifty Trader Challenge has begun. There was also a Block Explorer sale, changes in car racing and the introduction of a new shop type. The biggest news, however, concerns the announcement that the totems will come into play at the beginning of September.

Bekanntgabe der Tokyo Collections
- Die Woche des Wartens hat ein Ende. Upland hat die 5 Sammlungen in Shibuya bekannt gegeben: Dogenzaka, Jingumae, Yoyogi, Gastronomy und Shibuya Scramble Crossing. Das Vervollständigen der Sammlungen bringt einen Boost auf die Grundstückseinnahmen.

Tokyo Thrifty Trader Challenge
- Wie nach jedem City Release, geht es darum im Wettbewerbszeitraum möglichst viele Punkte zu sammeln. Alle Immobilienverkäufe und -käufe in Tokio zwischen Freitag, 25. August, 12:00 Uhr PT (MESZ +9) und Dienstag, 29. August, 9:00 Uhr PT (MESZ +9) bringen die entscheidenden Punkte. Die 200 topgereihten Teilnehmer in der Bestenliste erhalten einen speziellen Block Explorer. Außerdem gibt es UPX and Spark für die besten Spieler.

Tokyo Block Explorer
- Vor dem Collection Release gabe es auch einen speziellen Block Explorer Sale. Für diesen Verkauf war eine Anmeldung Voraussetzung, außerdem musste die Webversion genutzt werden. Das Gute in Zusammenhang mit dieser Aktion ist, dass man für den Kauf einer bestimmten Menge an UPX oben drauf einen Block Explorer als Geschenk erhält. Diesen kann man entweder selbst nutzen, sammeln oder an andere Spieler verkaufen.

Car Racing Update
- Das jüngste Update beim Car Racing betrifft die Möglichkeit, aktiv während des Rennens ins Renngeschehen einzugreifen. Durch geschicktes Spurwechseln, das Bremsen in gewissen Situationen und das Nutzen von Boosts, können mit einiger Übung die Rundenzeiten optimiert werden.

Vorstellung eines neuen Shoptyps
- Mit den Variety Legit Shops ist ein neuer Typ von Metaventures ins Spiel integriert worden. Anmeldungen für den Betrieb solcher Shops, in denen bestimmte Legits verkauft werden können, für die es bislang keinen Shop gab, sind ab sofort möglich.

Mit den Totems kommt Leben ins Spiel
- Aktuell wurde der Release-Termin für die erste Runde an Totems bekannt gegeben. Anfang September startet ein neues Abenteuer und Lebensformen ziehen ins Upland Metaversum ein. Sogenannte Mystery Pässe werden dann erhältlich sein. Durch Aktivierung erhält man dann für den Pass ein Totem. Die ersten Details wurden nun angekündigt. Alle Details wurden aber noch nicht verraten.

Tokyo Collection Reveal
- The week of waiting is over. Upland has announced the 5 collections in Shibuya: Dogenzaka, Jingumae, Yoyogi, Gastronomy and Shibuya Scramble Crossing. Completing the collections gives a boost to the property earnings.

Tokyo Thrifty Trader Challenge
- As after every City Release, the aim is to collect as many points as possible during the competition period. All property sales and purchases in Tokyo between Friday, August 25, 12:00 p.m. PT (CEST +9) and Tuesday, August 29, 9:00 a.m. PT (CEST +9) bring the crucial points. The top 200 participants on the leaderboard will receive a special Block Explorer. There's also UPX and Spark for the best players.

Tokyo Block Explorer Sale
- Before the collection release, there was also a special Block Explorer sale. Registration was a prerequisite for this sale, and the web version had to be used. The good thing about this promotion is that if you buy a certain amount of UPX, you get a free Block Explorer on top of it. You can either use it yourself, collect it or sell it to other players.

Car Racing Update
- The most recent update in car racing concerns the possibility of actively intervening in the racing action during the race. With a little practice, lap times can be optimized by skillfully changing lanes, braking in certain situations and using boosts.

Presentation of a new shop type

The totems bring life into play
- The release date for the first round of totems has just been announced. In early September, a new adventure begins and life forms move into the Upland Metaverse.
