¡Hola, mundo! Mi primer post en hive es para anunciar mi aterrizaje en esta red social. Me llamo Ana Patricia y la unión de mis dos nombres conforma el "anapa". El ".pdf" es el formato que mejor me define. Amo escribir. Por eso, quizá vayan a ver muchos artículos relacionados con los libros.
Hello, world! My first post on hive is to announce my landing on this social network. My name is Ana Patricia and the union of my two names forms the "anapa". The ".pdf" is the format that best defines me. I love writing. That's why you may see a lot of articles related to books.
Mi introducción a la literatura
Me introduje al mundo de la lectura a los seis años con mi primer libro "Teresa", de Armando José Sequera. Escritor venezonalo famoso (Por cierto, soy de Venezuela).
Desde ahí, empecé a leer de todo. Eso me llevó a desarrollar una de mis grandes pasiones: escribir. Yo quería crear algo tan significativo como lo que leía. Llegar a las personas, crear nuevos mundos.
Cuando me hice adolescente y me enamoré, empecé a escribir poemas. Luego me rompieron el corazón y escribí como si estuviese poseída en un cuaderno.
Así supe lo que quería: escribir. No sabía cómo ni en qué momento, solo sabía que me convertiría en escritora.
En todo ese tiempo, mi primer libro (a la izquierda en la foto) se fue deteriorando.
My introduction to literatureI was introduced to the world of reading at the age of six with my first book "Teresa", by Armando José Sequera. Famous Venezuelan writer (I am from Venezuela, by the way).
From then on, I started reading everything. That led me to develop one of my great passions: writing. I wanted to create something as meaningful as what I read. To reach people, to create new worlds.
When I became a teenager and fell in love, I started writing poems. Then my heart was broken and I wrote as if I was possessed.
That's how I knew what I wanted: to write. I didn't know how or when, I just knew I would become a writer.
In all that time, my first book (on the left in the photo) was deteriorating.
De cómo me hice escritora
¿Ustedes conocen Wattpad? Bueno...
En serio. Publiqué una novela (no me juzguen, tenía 16 años), llamada "La niñera de la mafia". Se convirtió en un éxito en la plataforma.
Pero, no estaba conforme. Así que cuando llegó el momento de escoger una carrera, pensé en qué me hacía buena para el mundo. Primero, pensé en estudiar odontología porque pensaba en el dinero, pero algo en mí decía: P E R I O D I S M O.
Eso me llevó a estudiar Comunicación Social mención Periodismo Impreso en la Universidad del Zulia (LUZ) y a graduarme en 2019 como Cum Laude.
Mi carrera frustrada siempre será Letras Hispánicas, pero está tristemente limitada en LUZ.
Yo no nací para "buscar la noticia", para "defender la verdad" o "luchar por la libertad de expresión". Yo solo nací para escribir.
Así terminé trabajando como redactora digital para diversos blogs antes de graduarme. Entendiendo mi objetivo como periodista, más allá de un reportaje o una noticia caliente en la redacción de un periodico.
Por eso, más que libros, podrán hallar aquí otras cosas de las que he llegado a escribir en el basto mundo del internet: maternidad, reseñas, cuentos cortos, poesía y temas de parejas.
Cualquier otra cosa que se me ocurra, les estaré informando porque este es solo mi inicio en Hive. Voy por más.
PD: Cuando empecé a estudiar en LUZ, conseguí una edición cuidada de Teresa y no dudé en adquirirla solo por nostalgia (a la derecha en la foto)
How I became a writerDo you know Wattpad? Well...
Seriously. I published a novel (don't judge me, I was 16), called "The Mob Nanny". It became a hit on the platform.But, I wasn't happy. So when it came time to choose a career, I thought about what made me good for the world. First, I thought about studying dentistry because I thought about the money, but something in me said: JOURNALISM.
That led me to study Social Communication mention Print Journalism at the University of Zulia (LUZ) and graduate in 2019 as Cum Laude.
My frustrated career will always be Hispanic Letters, but it is sadly limited at LUZ.
I was not born to "look for the news", to "defend the truth" or "fight for freedom of expression". I was only born to write.
So I ended up working as a digital editor for several blogs before graduating. Understanding my goal as a journalist, beyond a report or a hot story in the newsroom of a newspaper.
So, more than books, you will find here other things I have come to write about in the vast world of the internet: motherhood, reviews, short stories, poetry and couples' issues.
Whatever else I come up with, I'll be informing you because this is just my start in Hive. I'm going for more.
PS: When I started studying at LUZ, I got a neat edition of Teresa and I didn't hesitate to buy it just for nostalgia (on the right in the picture).
