Ese tipo de situaciones no mejoran hasta que empiezas a organizar tu tiempo y priorizar las actividades que haces en el día.
Así es como conocí el Santo Grial; una maravillosa herramienta digital llamada Notion.
Había escuchado sobre ella, pero no fue hasta que realmente la necesité que decidí explorarla a fondo.
Confieso que no soy una PRO en Notion. Estoy en ese camino de aprendizaje, descubriendo cada día nuevas funcionalidades y formas de aplicarla a mi vida. Y por la misma búsqueda de perfeccionar mis conocimientos en esta aplicación; es que fui al evento presencial organizado por el team de Notion Venezuela en WeConnect, Chacaito.
La mejor manera de aprender a mejorar mis habilidades es, por supuesto, aprendiendo de otros que tengan más conocimiento en el área. (O así lo pienso yo). Nada supera la experiencia de quienes ya han recorrido el camino.
De entrada, confieso que pensé que me conseguiría un montón de adictos a la tecnología; buscando aprender los últimos trucos y consejos para ser unos expertos en Notion. Pero, por el contrario, el quorum del evento estaba lleno de estudiantes, profesionales del marketing, creativos buscando mejorar sus tiempos y creadores de contenido. Fue un ambiente mucho más diverso de lo que esperaba.
Las charlas que captaron más mi atención fueron las de Klarena Torre y la de Jenn Dolinski. Ambas ofrecieron perspectivas muy valiosas sobre cómo integrar Notion en diferentes aspectos de la vida profesional y personal.
En la primera, la ponente nos explica como usa Notion para la organización de su proceso creativo y gestión de su webtoon. Fue fascinante ver cómo una herramienta digital podía ser tan integral en un proceso tan artístico. En la segunda, la ponente nos cuenta tips organizativos que pueden servir para cualquier estudiante que decida incursionar en Notion para gestionar no solo sus calificaciones; sino también sus clases y los tiempos de entrega de sus tareas. Sus consejos eran prácticos y aplicables de inmediato.
Después de las ponencias; se hizo un pequeño break y tiempo de networking, en el cual pude conversar con dos personas; (confieso que no recuerdo sus nombres). Estas conversaciones cortas pero significativas me mostraron la versatilidad de Notion en el mundo real.
Uno, usa Notion para ayudar a su hijo que está en edad escolar a organizar sus tareas para el colegio; así como también llevar registro de sus calificaciones. Me pareció una aplicación muy útil para la organización familiar. La otra persona, usa Notion para organizar su día a día y gestión los tiempos de su proyecto de marketing.
Lo genial de esto es que, al conocer diferentes usos de Notion; entiendes que puede ser usado para todo. Desde la planificación personal hasta la gestión de equipos.
No está de más mencionar que me gané un pequeño totebag cortesia del equipo de Notion Venezuela. Fue un lindo detalle y un recuerdo del evento.
El haber asistido a este evento me motivó a comprometerme más con mi meta de aprender a usar Notion como un second brain; en el cual pueda gestionar todo lo que tengo por hacer.
Siento que esta herramienta puede realmente transformar mi productividad. Por qué, si; soy de esas personas que quiere hacer de todo y pues, para hacerlo, mi mejor amiga es y siempre será la gestión del tiempo. Y ahora, Notion será mi gran aliada en esta travesia.

I'm on that learning path, discovering every day new functionalities and ways to apply it to my life. And because of the same quest to perfect my knowledge in this application, I went to the in-person event organized by the Notion Venezuela team at WeConnect, Chacaito.
The best way to learn how to improve my skills is, of course, learning from others who have more knowledge in the area (or so I think). Nothing beats the experience of those who have already walked the path.
For starters, I confess that I would get a lot of tech junkies; looking to learn the latest tips and tricks. But, on the contrary, the quorum of the event was full of students, marketing professionals, creatives looking to improve their timelines and content creators. It was a much more diverse environment than I expected.

Attending this event motivated me to commit myself more to my intention of learning how to use Notion as a second brain; where I can manage everything I have to do.
I feel that this tool can really transform my productivity. Why, yes; I am one of those people who wants to do everything and well, to do it, my best friend is and always will be time management. And now, Notion is a powerful ally in that management.
I will keep exploring and learning to make the most of this amazing tool.
