Durante el tiempo de organización del Pizza Day, con PizzaDAO, pude conectar con personas de web3 aquí en Ecuador, algunos de ellos formaban parte de la organización de dicho en evento en diferentes ciudades de este país. Así que seguimos en contacto y fue así como hace unas semanas uno de ellos me contactó para invitarme a participar en uno de los eventos de la "Ecuador Tech Week:, en un Meetup sobre Polkadot, para hablar de Marketing Web3, Marca Personal y Creación de Contenido Web3, esa invitación la puedes ver aquí.
El Evento se llevó acabo en Guayaquil, a 4 horas de mi ciudad así que tenía que viajar muy temprano para poder llegar a tiempo o al menos antes de mi charla. Era mi primera chamba y me quedé dormida 🙃🤣, así que salí una hora y media después de lo que tenia planeado. Llegué a Guayaquil a las 11 AM, cuando el sol costeño es más intenso y de allí tuve que esperar casi una hora para que mi Uber llegara por mi, ya que Guayaquil es muy grande y debía trasladarme del norte al sur, pero llegué a la Universidad Politécnica Salesiana donde se estaba llevando acabo todo y como empezaron algo tarde, en teoría no llegué tan tarde jajaja.

During the time of organising Pizza Day, with PizzaDAO, I was able to connect with people from web3 here in Ecuador, some of them were part of the organisation of this event in different cities of this country. So we kept in touch and a few weeks ago one of them contacted me to invite me to participate in one of the events of the "Ecuador Tech Week:, in a Meetup about Polkadot, to talk about Web3 Marketing, Personal Branding and Web3 Content Creation, you can see the invitation here.
The event took place in Guayaquil, 4 hours away from my city so I had to travel very early to be on time or at least before my talk. It was my first job and I overslept 🙃🤣, so I left an hour and a half later than I had planned. I arrived to Guayaquil at 11 AM, when the coastal sun is more intense and from there I had to wait almost an hour for my Uber to arrive for me, as Guayaquil is very big and I had to move from north to south, but I arrived to the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana where everything was taking place and as they started a bit late, in theory I wasn't so late hahaha.

Antes de mi charla pude escuchar a 3 Speakers, uno habló sobre Datos Digitales, otro sobre Contratos Inteligentes y el otro sobre qué es Polkadot. Dando conceptos sobre algunas palabras que yo también usaría y abriéndome así camino con los presentes. Cabe recalcar que esta fue mi primera vez como Speaker invitado en un evento presencial. Mientras ellos hablaban noté que nadie tomaba fotos o grababa videos, así que le pedí a un chico que me tomara fotos con mi teléfono, era alguien que no conocía, me arriesgué a darselo, pero bloqueado por si intentaba huir jajaja.
Cuando ya estaba cerca de mi turno, comencé a sentir más frío de lo normal, olvidé por completo mis líneas y mis manos estaban como a 10 grados 🤣, pero mi rostro reflejaba calma. Entonces, me presentaron y pasé al frente, mientras hablaba mis manos entraron en calor y el hecho de que durante muchos años he hablado en público, ayuda muchísimo. Me gustó que pude romper el hielo, mantener a la gente atenta a la charla y sobre todo poder conectar con ellos. Despertar la curiosidad en una audiencia no es fácil, pero se logró y eso me dió mucho gusto.

Before my talk I was able to listen to 3 Speakers, one spoke about Digital Data, one about Smart Contracts and one about what Polkadot is. Giving concepts about some words that I would also use and making my way with the audience. It should be noted that this was my first time as a guest speaker at an in-person event. While they were talking I noticed that nobody was taking pictures or recording videos, so I asked a guy to take pictures of me with my phone, it was someone I didn't know, I took the risk to give it to him, but blocked in case he tried to run away hahaha.
When I was already close to my turn, I started to feel colder than normal, I completely forgot my lines and my hands were like 10 degrees 🤣, but my face reflected calm. Then, I was introduced and came to the front, as I spoke my hands warmed up and the fact that for many years I have spoken in public, helps a lot. I liked that I was able to break the ice, to keep people attentive to the talk and above all to connect with them. Awakening curiosity in an audience is not easy, but it was achieved and I was very happy about that.
Una de las cosas que debemos hacer mientras enseñamos en público, es involucrarlos y siempre trato de poner ejemplos de la vida real o cotidiana para que las personas puedan comprender mejor cada aspecto. Comencé mi ponencia con dos preguntas basadas en Marketing, para mostrar dónde estamos y hacia dónde vamos. Fue mi primera vez hablando de Marketing Web3, no soy para nada experta en el tema, pero algo si ayuda y mucho, la práctica, así que era más fácil hablar de mi experiencia y claro que definimos conceptos, como qué es, Fundamentos del Marketing Web3, estrategias de marketing, diferencias entre el marketing digital y de web3, y además hablé de Marca Personal basado en Web3 y Creación de Contenido en Web3.

One of the things we have to do while teaching in public is to involve them and I always try to give examples from real life or everyday life so that people can better understand each aspect. I started my presentation with two questions based on Marketing, to show where we are and where we are going. It was my first time talking about Web3 Marketing, I am not at all an expert on the subject, but something does help a lot, practice, so it was easier to talk about my experience and of course we defined concepts, like what it is, Fundamentals of Web3 Marketing, marketing strategies, differences between digital and web3 marketing, and I also talked about Personal Branding based on Web3 and Content Creation on Web3.

Luego llegó el turno de presentar al Proyecto Aliento, como un proyecto de Educación basado en la Blockchain Hive y a @mkt.community como un proyecto para Marketeros, basado Marketing Web3. Presentar a mi querido Team de @aliento me dió mucho orgullo, decir lo que somos, lo que hacemos y hemos podido lograr. También me dió orgullo poder presentarme como colaborador en unos de los pocos proyectos en Web3 enfocados en Marketing y que además es conocido por la comunidad crypto, como lo es MKT Community. Aprovecho a agradecer la confianza brindada por ambos proyectos hacia mi persona para representarlos en este evento.
También pude conocer a un Hiver de la Comunidad de Ecuador @betoman, un nuevo usuario en Hive, supe que estaba allí hasta que finalicé mi presentación. Nos tomamos una foto para mostrarla a @meno, quien fue que lo introdujo en Hive. Espero que le haya gustado y se anime a seguir creando en Hive. También tengo noticias futuras para él, ya que se vienen más eventos, enfocados en Hive, en Guayaquil (estábamos trabajando en ello, aun no daré detalles).

Había personas de todo tipo en el público, estudiantes universitarios, programadores, un chico que forma parte del programa Ángeles de Binance, empresarios, personas con cero conocimientos cryptos, otros con conocimientos básicos y en especial gente con muchas ganas de aprender y por supuesto, estaba yo, aprendiendo junto a ellos y sí, tambien comimos pizza 🍕.

Then it was time to present the Aliento Project, as an Education project based on the Blockchain Hive and @mkt.community as a project for Marketers, based on Web3 Marketing. Presenting my dear Team @aliento gave me a lot of pride, to say what we are, what we do and what we have been able to achieve. I was also proud to be able to present myself as a collaborator in one of the few projects in Web3 focused on Marketing and which is also known by the crypto community, such as MKT Community. I would like to take this opportunity to thank both projects for trusting me to represent them in this event.
I was also able to meet a Hiver from the Ecuador Community @betoman, a new user in Hive, I knew he was there until I finished my presentation. We took a picture to show it to @meno, who was the one who introduced him to Hive. I hope he liked it and is encouraged to continue creating on Hive. I also have future news for him, as there are more events coming up, focused on Hive, in Guayaquil (we were working on it, I won't give details yet).
There were all kinds of people in the audience, university students, programmers, a guy who is part of the Binance Angels program, entrepreneurs, people with zero crypto knowledge, others with basic knowledge and especially people eager to learn and of course, there was me, learning along with them.
