Dicen que la profesión mas bonita es la del educador, esas personas que llevan la difícil tarea de motivar y formar para el mañana, los que enseñan con amor, los que dedican su tiempo a encaminar el futuro de próximos profesionales; en fin, el educador es la persona que lucha contra viento y marea con tal de sacar adelante a 30 o 40 estudiantes con diferentes necesidades para lograr el aprendizaje.
They say that the most beautiful profession is that of the educator, those people who carry the difficult task of motivating and training for tomorrow, those who teach with love, those who dedicate their time to guide the future of upcoming professionals; in short, the educator is the person who fights against all odds in order to get ahead 30 or 40 students with different needs to achieve learning.
Hoy como cada 15 de enero se celebra el Día del Maestro en Venezuela, el país que hace muchos años gozaba de riqueza y una de ellas eran los docentes quienes engalanaban las instituciones educativas por ser personas cultas y respetadas por todos, razón por la cual esta servidora se enamoró de dicha profesión y decidió estudiarla. Durante mis años como estudiantes fueron muchas las experiencias vividas, amistades encontradas, emociones vividas y enseñanzas que no se olvidan; fue una época muy hermosa creo que la etapa más maravillosa de mi vida porque conocí una parte de mi que no sabia existía y eso me lleno de satisfacción, era todo como un cuento de hadas con un toque de realidad.
Today as every January 15 is celebrated the Teacher's Day in Venezuela, the country that many years ago enjoyed wealth and one of them were the teachers who adorned the educational institutions for being cultured and respected by all, which is why this servant fell in love with this profession and decided to study it. During my years as a student there were many experiences, friendships, emotions and teachings that are not forgotten; it was a very beautiful time, I think the most wonderful stage of my life because I met a part of me that I did not know existed and that filled me with satisfaction, it was all like a fairy tale with a touch of reality.
La realidad llegó el primer día que me responsabilicé de un aula de clases y vi como tantos ojitos fijaban sus miradas en mi. algunos muy temerosos, otros muy inquietos y mientras tanto yo serena por fuera y aterrada por dentro; era la primera vez que me encargaba de un grupo de niños mis demás compañeros incluyendo al directivo al pendiente estaban de mi labor para ayudar y guiar en cualquier situación, claro estaba debutando con primer grado de primaria, un grado un tanto difícil ya que los niños vienen del preescolar con otros hábitos diferentes a los de primaria por lo que les cuesta adaptarse al nuevo ambiente; pero a si vez es el grado mas hermoso y tierno porque son los niños mas pequeños que aunque no lo parezca enseñan cosas inimaginables demás que regalan abrazos y besos inesperados lo que hacen que uno como docente se enamore mucho mas de la profesión y le ponga mayor empeño.
The reality came the first day I was responsible for a classroom and I saw how many little eyes fixed their gazes on me, some very fearful, others very restless. It was the first time that I was in charge of a group of children, my other classmates, including the director, were watching my work to help and guide me in any situation. Of course, I was making my debut with the first grade of elementary school, a somewhat difficult grade because the children come from preschool with different habits than those of elementary school, so it is difficult for them to adapt to the new environment; But at the same time it is the most beautiful and tender grade because they are the youngest children who, although it may not seem so, teach unimaginable things and give unexpected hugs and kisses, which makes one as a teacher fall in love with the profession and put more effort into it.
No ha sido fácil ser docente porque nunca lo es, siempre encontramos piedras en el camino y en el mio encontré muchas las cuales convertí en fortalezas para poder continuar mi camino y poder llegar a la meta trazada. Cuando se es profesional de la educación no solo se trabaja con los estudiantes, también tenemos que trabajar con los representantes quienes muchas veces pretenden dar instrucciones las cuales están fuera de si, ademas de ello el docente también debe lidiar con los problemas de cada niño y por ende de la familia, lo cual no es nada fácil pero con amor y dedicación todo se puede lograr.
It has not been easy to be a teacher because it never is, we always find stones in the way and in mine I found many which I turned into strengths to be able to continue my way and to be able to reach the traced goal. When you are an education professional not only work with students, we also have to work with the representatives who often pretend to give instructions which are out of their minds, besides that the teacher must also deal with the problems of each child and therefore the family, which is not easy but with love and dedication everything can be achieved.
Mi profesión me enseño mas de lo que yo esperaba porque no solo aprendí en la universidad, también aprendí con cada niño que pasó por mis manos, con el que aprendía todo en dos pasos pero también con el que no quería ni sacar el cuaderno de la mochila; aprendí existe un mundo más allá de lo que a simple vista se mira en un salón de clases, aprendí a llegar al corazón de cada niño y así poder entrar en su hogar para enterarme del por que el no querer aprender, pude palpar las carencias de un grupo familiar y ver que en muchos hogares las carencias eran afectivas, entonces así pude darme cuenta cual era el ingrediente que faltaba para el aprendizaje en clase.
My profession taught me more than I expected because I not only learned at the university, I also learned with every child who passed through my hands, with the one who learned everything in two steps but also with the one who did not even want to take the notebook out of the backpack; I learned that there is a world beyond what at first glance is seen in a classroom, I learned to reach the heart of each child and thus be able to enter their home to find out why they do not want to learn, I could feel the shortcomings of a family group and see that in many homes the shortcomings were affective, then I could realize what was the missing ingredient for learning in class.
Satisfecha hoy me encuentro por mi labor ofrecida porque ahora puedo ver que muchas semillas de inquietud sembré en diferentes cabecitas que ahora son personas de bien formándose en una profesión digna, es maravilloso poder llegar a un lugar y que te reciban con un abrazo sincero pero también lo es cuando te presentan como "mi maestra" , son tantas muestras de afectos las que me he ganado a lo largo de mi labor que no cabe en mi pecho tanta alegría al recordarlas.
I am satisfied today for my work offered because now I can see that many seeds of concern I sowed in different little heads that are now good people being formed in a worthy profession, it is wonderful to arrive at a place and be received with a sincere hug but it is also wonderful when you are introduced as "my teacher". There are so many signs of affection that I have earned throughout my work that there is no room in my chest for such joy when I remember them.
El docente sera siempre la base fundamental de toda sociedad ya que siempre formará a los profesionales del futuro, son los que enseñan con mística, amor y vocación, no es y nunca será fácil nuestro trabajo por eso hoy felicito a mis colegas que hacen vida en la colmena deseando que Dios les llene de sabiduria para alcanzar el éxito.
Teachers will always be the fundamental basis of any society since they will always train the professionals of the future, they are the ones who teach with mysticism, love and vocation. Our work is not and will never be easy, so today I congratulate my colleagues who make life in the hive, wishing that God fills them with wisdom to achieve success.
