Hoy vi en un video de Youtube una frase que me dejo pensando y decía lo siguiente:
“Una de las tónicas kafkianas más recurrentes es la dinámica del seguir por seguir, bien por la ausencia de una mejor opción en el corto, medio o largo plazo, bien porque el sujeto no es capaz de ver el elefante en la habitación ni pensar fuera de la caja o simplemente, porque no concibe la existencia alternativa que ni siquiera tiene interés en conocer” (UN MUNDO ABSURDO (Franz Kafka) - ¿Qué es el HORROR KAFKIANO en la FILOSOFÍA ABSURDISTA?) de Ram Talks.
La monotonía en trabajos, relaciones, amistades, hábitos o series es a veces uno de los círculos más difíciles de romper por parte de algunas personas. Y es que muchas veces no se es consciente de que se está siguiendo con algo porque se asume de que no hay nada diferente o que al menos no existe una mejor opción por practicar, privando a una persona de explorar nuevas alternativas o nuevos caminos que brinden mayor estabilidad o una mejor posición en algunos aspectos de la vida.
El miedo puede ser implacable. La sensación de no conocer el nuevo camino que se deberá transitar luego de abandonado el anterior es normalmente la mayor razón por la que no se termina de abandonar una situación que ya ha dejado claro que no te favorece de forma plena.
Este es un miedo creíble y muchas veces la estabilidad que da algo conocido no es intercambiable por la incertidumbre de un nuevo destino. Pero en contraposición a este miedo creíble se encuentra el extremo contrario: no saber que se haya en un círculo que te deja siempre en la posición inicial.
En este caso se sigue por seguir porque la persona se ve incapaz de imaginarse a sí misma en una mejor posición. Siente que el beneficio que está obteniendo en ese momento no amerita buscar uno mayor, pudiéndose prolongar esta situación en el tiempo.
Considero que esta es la más peligrosa de las posiciones de seguir por seguir ya que, mientras en la anterior la persona no avanzaba por miedo a perder su estabilidad o su incapacidad de ver una mejor opción en un futuro cercano (pero deseando que la misma existiera), esta segunda se asienta sobre la base del desconocimiento de la posición actual.
Por todo esto considero que se debe tener dos cosas: en primer lugar, el hábito de la introspección constante para tener mayor claridad en las cosas que queremos tener y lograr en nuestras vidas y de esta manera evitar círculos que nos limiten a lograr nuestros deseos. Y por el otro el coraje necesario para poder realizar nuevas actividades, conocer nuevas personas y horizontes, enfrentar nuevos trabajos, aunque esto en el fondo sea aterrador.

Monotony in jobs, relationships, friendships, habits or series is sometimes one of the most difficult circles for some people to break. Many times people are not aware that they are sticking with something because they assume that there is nothing different or at least that there is no better option to practice, depriving a person of exploring new alternatives or new paths that provide greater stability or a better position in some aspects of life.
Fear can be relentless. The feeling of not knowing the new path to follow after abandoning the previous one is usually the main reason why you do not end up leaving a situation that has already made it clear that it does not fully favor you.
This is a credible fear and many times the stability that gives something known is not interchangeable for the uncertainty of a new destiny. But in contrast to this credible fear is the opposite extreme: not knowing that you are in a circle that always leaves you in the initial position.
In this case it is followed by following because the person is unable to imagine himself in a better position. He feels that the benefit he is obtaining at that moment does not merit looking for a better one, and this situation can be prolonged in time.
I consider this to be the most dangerous of the positions of following for the sake of following because, while in the previous one the person did not move forward for fear of losing his stability or his inability to see a better option in the near future (but wishing it existed), this second one is based on the ignorance of the current position.
For all this I consider that we must have two things: first, the habit of constant introspection to have more clarity on the things we want to have and achieve in our lives and thus avoid circles that limit us to achieve our desires. And on the other hand, the necessary courage to be able to carry out new activities, meet new people and horizons, face new jobs, even though this may be frightening.
