Empezando mi aventura en Hive (introducción a mi misma) [EPS- ENG] - Starting my adventure in Hive. (introduction to myself)

¡Hola amigos! Espero que donde sea que me estén leyendo, se encuentren bien. Soy nueva en hive, en esta ocasión les hablaré un poco acerca de mí y sobre el contenido que quisiera compartirles en mi página de hive. Mi nombre es Keicy Nieves, aunque muchos me dicen Nieves. Como dice el título, estoy empezando esta aventura por esta plataforma del cual estoy agradecida porque tengo unas amigas que me han motivado a dar este pequeño gran paso.

Hello friends! I hope that wherever you are reading me you are doing well. I'm new to hive, this time I'll tell you a little about myself and the content I'd like to share with you on my hive page. My name is Keicy Nieves, although many people call me Nieves. As the title says, I am starting this adventure in this platform which I am thankful for because I have some friends who have motivated me to take this small big step.

Soy de Venezuela, soy una joven entusiasta en la ilustración, tengo 22 años y en estos momentos estoy trabajando de telemarketing, aunque como todo empleo, no ha sido sencillo. Hasta ahora he tenido una vida bastante tranquila. Cuando era mas joven algunas de mis tías maternas le gustaban tejer y una de ellas le gustaba tanto que tejía pañuelos, bolsos, incluso blusitas. Yo un tiempo tejí pulseras pero dejé de hacerlo, aunque me gustaría retomar este proyecto en un futuro no muy lejano. También llegué hacer muchas manualidades y reconstruir objetos que estaban rotos o tenían algún desperfecto. Para algunos de mis primos era aburrido pero a mi me encantaba salvar cosas y poder volver a darle un nuevo uso.

I'm from Venezuela, I'm a young illustration enthusiast, I'm 22 years old and I'm currently working as a telemarketer, although like any job, it hasn't been easy. So far I have had a pretty quiet life. When I was younger some of my maternal aunts liked to knit and one of them liked it so much that she knitted scarves, bags, even blouses. I wove bracelets for a while but I stopped doing it, although I would like to take up this project again in the not too distant future. I also got to do a lot of handicrafts and reconstruct objects that were broken or had some damage. For some of my cousins it was boring but I loved saving things and being able to give them a new use.

Hace unos años, en ese tiempo que había terminado el bachillerato, aún no sabía bien qué hacer con mi vida ni sabía que estudiar. Tenía varias opciones basadas en mis intereses y recursos; ingeniería civil y diseño gráfico. Opté por ingeniería civil, fue una experiencia bastante interesante, hice algunas amistades que hasta el sol de hoy me acompañan. Por desgracia, sentí que no encajaba, no sentía que fuera para mí, no sentía esa pasión, no me visualizaba, no sentía que se acercaba a mi "vocación". Justo en esos momentos mediados del 2018 el país había caído en una crisis y a su vez estaba teniendo problemas por el sol, así que me retiré a los primeros meses. Como soy una chica que de joven le gusta lograr sus objetivos así sea a pasito de morrocoy, empecé a trabajar. Tiempo después hice cursos de manicurista básico, maquillaje básico, ilustración básica y empecé muy poco Photoshop cuando la empresa cerró.

A few years ago, at the time I had finished high school, I still didn't know what to do with my life nor did I know what to study. I had several options based on my interests and resources; civil engineering and graphic design. I opted for civil engineering, it was quite an interesting experience, I made some friendships that are still with me to this day. Unfortunately, I felt that I didn't fit in, I didn't feel it was for me, I didn't feel that passion, I didn't visualize myself, I didn't feel it was close to my "calling". Right at those times mid 2018 the country had fallen into a crisis and in turn was having problems because of the sun, so I retired within the first few months. As I am a girl who as a young girl likes to achieve her goals even if it is a little step of morrocoy, I started working. Some time later I took courses of basic manicurist, basic makeup, basic illustration and I started very little Photoshop when the company closed.

En esos años adquirí experiencia laborales que me han ayudado a crecer como persona, conocer personas grandiosas y otras que me han dado grandes lecciones. Luego, cuando retomo las riendas, quise intentar estudiar diseño gráfico y entre los trámites el país volvió a decaer en 2020; el covid y la cuarentena me hizo imposible entrar. Sin embargo, nunca perdí las esperanzas y empecé a emprender con galletongas o galletas de mantequilla, tortas y me estaba yendo bien; aunque fue una experiencia que no pude mantener estable fue emocionante alegrar a las personas y quizás mas adelante les comparta la receta.

In those years I gained work experience that has helped me grow as a person, meet great people and others who have given me great lessons. Then, when I took the reins again, I wanted to try to study graphic design and between the paperwork the country declined again in 2020; the covid and the quarantine made it impossible for me to enter. However, I never lost hope and began to undertake with galletongas or butter cookies, cakes and I was doing well; although it was an experience that I could not keep stable it was exciting to cheer people up and maybe later I will share the recipe.

Tengo esta cuenta de hive creada desde el 2021. Sin embargo, nunca la usé porque en ese momento se me presentaron unos inconvenientes personales y bueno, con el tiempo desistí de hive porque me desmotivé. Nuevamente estoy aquí, intentándolo una vez mas porque a veces tengo este pensamiento: si va hacer algo, ¡dale con furia! jaja una personita que llegué a conocer lo decía tanto que a veces lo digo sin darme cuenta. Y aprovechando que estamos hablando de mi retorno en Hive, no hace mucho asistí a un conversatorio que dieron el mes pasado en Palo negro, Aragua, con el grupo de @Hivearte, invitada por @desireeart y @stefy.music no saben lo genial que fue, una experiencia muy bonita, un lindo ambiente, de verdad fue estupendo poder volver a ver amistades viejas y conocer nuevas personas y también conocer el nuevo mundo de la web3 que, para mi es un mundo nuevo por descubrir.

I have this hive account created since 2021. However, I never used it because at that time I had some personal problems and well, eventually I gave up hive because I got demotivated. I am here again, trying one more time because sometimes I have this thought: if you are going to do something, give it to him with fury! haha a little person I got to know said it so much that sometimes I say it without realizing it. And since we are talking about my return in Hive, not long ago I attended a talk that they gave last month in Palo Negro, Aragua, with the group of @Hivearte, invited by @desireeart and @stefi.music do not know how great it was, a very nice experience, a nice atmosphere, it was really great to see old friendships and meet new people and also to know the new world of web3 that for me is a new world to discover.

Aparte de las geniales clases en el grupo de Telegram de @aliento y Hive desde cero que por cierto me uní a su grupo gracias a mi amiga @desireeart que me integró en un grupo de WhatsApp; bueno, en el grupo de Telegram hemos sido instruidos por unos profesores que los recomiendo al 100% y los invito a que visiten sus blogs de todas estas personas tan lindas, se tratan de @soy-laloreto que nos enseñó y dio la apertura de este maravilloso mundo, @simplemente-eli nos enseñó sobre el uso correcto de como buscar bien las fuentes, el uso de copyright, también tenemos a @dimeilaz que nos enseñó a hacer nuestros post y unos tips muy buenos (ya sea con Markdown o html) a @gorayii que nos enseñó sobre el cuidado de las contraseñas, su seguridad y la importancia que debemos tenerles ,a @jonsnow1983 por enseñarnos a usar de manera sencilla 3speak y qué les digo, ha sido una bendición para mi haber sido instruida por cada una de estas personas, todos han sido una pieza poderosa para empezar.

Actualmente estoy intentando estudiar ilustración. (luego les contaré qué me hizo cambiar de opinion) estoy haciendo prácticas y estudiando por cuenta propia. Hace poco empecé a buscar cursos por internet, y en un futuro cercano poder estudiarlo mas formalmente y obtener mi título universitario. Además, me he estado interesando en el ejercicio y actividades al aire libre, especialmente en la yoga, patinaje y caminatas. Es una sensación tan linda poder hacer estas actividades en equipo y compartir estas experiencias. (créanme, solo es divertido, acompañado se vuelve mejor).

I'm currently trying to study illustration (I'll tell you later what made me change my mind), I'm doing internships and studying on my own. I recently started looking for courses on the internet, and in the near future I will be able to study it more formally and get my university degree. Also, I have been getting interested in exercise and outdoor activities, especially yoga, skating and hiking. It's such a nice feeling to be able to do these activities as a team and share these experiences (believe me, alone is fun, together it gets better).

I also want to introduce you to my pets, my loves: luna, croqueta, neiger and milo. More than pets, they are part of the family and their company has filled me with joy. They are very naughty:

Meet Luna. She is a feral cat (liea), she is a beautiful black cat with green eyes. Then follows Croqueta, she is a young girl. She came into the family at the age of two human months in February last year.

Next is Neiger, he is not white but he is not brown either, he is a combination of beige with crystal blue eyes like the sky. Finally, there is Milo, little green eyes stripes; he is neiger's brother and they are Luna's offspring, they are going to be a year old this month.
