Un gusto empezar en esta comunidad, mi nombre es Roxi. Este es mi primer post y lo confieso estoy un poco nerviosa, ya que, es algo nuevo para mí, y estando acostumbrada a escribir para ser evaluada en parciales, ensayos, investigaciones y por último en la tesis, esto de escribir libremente se siente agradable aunque diferente. Voy a darles un esbozo de mí y de lo que voy a compartir en Hive -Toma una respiración profunda-

It's a pleasure to start in this community, my name is Roxi. This is my first post and I confess I'm a little nervous, since, it's something new for me, and being used to writing to be evaluated in midterms, essays, research and finally in the thesis, this free writing feels nice but different. I'm going to give you an outline of me and what I'm going to share in Hive -Take a deep breath-.

Como les comenté me llamo Roxi tengo 26 años cumplidos hace poco y estoy esperando el título para ser oficialmente licenciada en psicología. Conocí esta plataforma por un amigo de la universidad que asistió a una charla y me comentó un poco, pero en ese momento estaba entre sobrevivir y salvar las pasantías así que no me interese a profundidad. Pasado un tiempo, y habiendo sobrevivido, comencé a ver los post de mi amigo de diferentes temas y allí sí le hice las mil y un preguntas, porque yo quería formar parte de la comunidad, y él amablemente me ayudó y me instruyó ¡Gracias Omar!.
As I told you my name is Roxi, I am 26 years old and I am waiting for my degree to officially become a psychology graduate. I found out about this platform through a friend from college who attended a talk and told me a little about it, but at that time I was between surviving and saving my internship so I didn't get interested in depth. After a while, and having survived, I began to see my friend's posts on different topics and there I asked him a thousand and one questions, because I wanted to be part of the community, and he kindly helped me and instructed me.
Entre mis aspectos característicos les puedo comentar que soy hija única así que no tengo experiencia en las “discusiones de hermano” lo mas cercano a un hermano que tengo es mi perrito llamado Salomón por su inteligencia y astucia – si son observadores podrán descubrirlo en la foto - del cual en futuras publicaciones les contare un poco, porque créanme es todo un personaje.
Among my characteristic aspects I can tell you that I am an only child so I have no experience in "sibling discussions" the closest thing to a brother I have is my little dog named Solomon for his intelligence and cunning - if you are observant you can discover him in the photo - of which in future publications I will tell you a little, because believe me he is quite a character.
Tengo muchos pasatiempos y poco tiempo para pasarlo – esto de ser adulto no es tan divertido – y aunque técnicamente comencé a ser adulta a los 18 años, el año pasado una vez culminado mis estudios, es que pude comenzar a trabajar y aun ando equilibrando mis ocupaciones; pero en fin, mis pasatiempos son dormir, me considero una fuente de sueño inagotable, leer libros de romance y distopias; según mi lista he leído mas de 100 libros a lo largo de mi vida; ver y hacer tiktoks que llegan a 10 likes pero es una red social que disfruto mucho, ver videos de murga uruguaya – si no saben de qué les hablo despreocúpense que luego les contare -, ver batallas de freestyle, ver doramas, escuchar música, llevar mi bullet y algo que es reciente entrenar o hacer ejercicios como prefieran llamarle.
I have many hobbies and little time to spend - being an adult is not so much fun - and although technically I started being an adult at 18, last year once I finished my studies, I was able to start working and I'm still balancing my occupations; but anyway, my hobbies are sleeping, I consider myself an inexhaustible source of sleep, reading books of romance and dystopias; according to my list I have read more than 100 books throughout my life; watch and make tiktoks that reach 10 likes but is a social network that I enjoy a lot, watch videos of Uruguayan murga - if you don't know what I'm talking about don't worry, I will tell you later -, watch freestyle battles, watch doramas, listen to music, carry my bullet and something that is recent training or exercise as you prefer to call it.
Como se pueden dar cuenta, las Roxi somos diversas y por lo tanto lo que compartiré en esta plataforma será del mismo modo, quiero hacer publicaciones sobre mis pasatiempos hacerle post, reseñas de los doramas, las batallas de freestyle, algunos libros, contarles que es la murga y comentarles mis favoritas, explicarles un poco sobre el bullet y contarles de mi proceso entre odiar y ahora querer el ejercicio. Claramente Roma no se construyo en un día y para todo esto necesitaré tiempo pero aquí no estamos apurados y eso es lo bueno. Además que me gustaría contarles ciertas anécdotas y experiencias personales y con mis amigos, momentos de mi vida universitaria y como les dije soy casi psicóloga, también hablar un poco de la salud mental.
As you can see, the Roxi are diverse and therefore what I will share on this platform will be the same way, I want to make posts about my hobbies make you post, reviews of the doramas, the freestyle battles, some books, tell you what is the murga and tell you about my favorites, explain a little about the bullet and tell you about my process between hating and now loving exercise. Clearly Rome was not built in a day and for all this I will need time but here we are not in a hurry and that's the good thing. Besides I would like to tell you some anecdotes and personal experiences and with my friends, moments of my university life and as I told you I am almost a psychologist, I would also like to talk a little bit about mental health.
No quisiera terminar sin comentarles que me encantan los unicornios, tanto que tengo una pijama de unicornio y he salido a la calle con ella, en la foto esta la evidencia. Además antes solia escribir poesía o frases que rimaban, tengo tiempo sin hacerlo y por lo general mis escritos los leyeron unos pocos, si mi inspiración vuelve a llegar pues estaré encantada de compartirlo por acá. Bueno, creo que ya he hablado/ escrito mucho, estoy atenta a sus comentarios y sugerencias, y nos vemos pronto.
I don't want to finish without telling you that I love unicorns, so much that I have a unicorn pajamas and I have gone out to the street with it, in the picture is the evidence. I used to write poetry or rhyming phrases, but I haven't done it for a long time and usually my writings have been read by only a few people, if my inspiration comes back I will be happy to share it here. Well, I think I have already spoken / written a lot, I am attentive to your comments and suggestions, and see you soon.
