She will always be next to me during all my free time. Sometimes, we just walk through the streets; sometimes, we share beauty through a tree when listening or simply enjoy the silence when her presence calms her. She is a friend who is always by my side whenever I need her, and I keep thanking Heaven for blessing me with a friend like her.
@elshgrce, in my eyes, is different from everybody, the only one who can genuinely and compassionately understand me beyond the boundaries of friendship, a person on whom I will entirely depend in all the ugly situations no matter how rough my life gets. I am not the most colorful person in the crowd; in fact, I tend to be somewhat reserved; I can't help it, especially in an unfamiliar place or around many new people. This has been my lifelong fight that I remember. With her, however, I somehow get that little boost of courage-slightly better confidence. I don't feel that alone anymore. She is my protection from the callous world and encourages me to do a few things that lie outside my comfort zone..
No matter where I need to go, whether doing errands, church obligations, or simply going for a walk through town, she is always willing to come with me. The very fact that she would drop everything and abandon whatever she is doing for me because she knows I require that is precisely how deep her care runs. And it is not about her availability-it is about how well she understands me. She knows that all is not well when I am quiet and overwhelmed without me saying anything. When she is with me, there is no such thing as loneliness, but rather the warmth that real companionship brings.
One of those things I admire from @elshgrce is selflessness because it matters so much to me at the end of the day. There is offering help in presence without even asking for anything in return. If I go through any personal challenges, need some advice, or just need someone to listen to outside judgment, she will most probably lend me her ears. It is quite a support. I really cannot imagine living one single day without it.
Our friendship consists of laughter, trust, and respect. Therefore, the memories that we have spent together are endless amazing memories will certainly be there in my pockets forever. From late-night chats about life and dreams to spontaneous adventuring, every experience is indeed a blessing to her. Even in such utter silence, when we are just sitting together without much talking, there is an understanding which goes unspoken between us.
To my precious friend, @elshgrce, thanks for your very being. I appreciate your patience, kindness, and unending support. You are a fabulous friend in every sense, for which I can never be sufficiently grateful for your being.
One thing I learned from this friendship: true friends are extremely rare gems found in the world - those who come into your life and refuse to leave you, although it would be possible owing to all the different circumstances. And here I found that gem called @elshgrce.
Here's to several more years ahead with friends who show us good times and adventures: Life is a little less scary and a lot smarter with you along behind me. Thank you for just being you!
