Friends, I am starting my application by expressing the hope that the New Year will bring new joy to everyone’s life, remove all the fatigue of life and make the times of life more colorful.
Speaking of myself, I am Md. Hafiz Ullah from Bangladesh. I live in the part of old Dhaka in the middle of Dhaka South City Corporation. I am employed but like to enjoy freedom all the time. That’s why I always try to maintain my independence. From the beginning I have tried to be quite active in the blockchain. Blockchain is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy something different, and I’m always looking forward to it.
Although my start was not happy and wonderful, but being active in blockchain, I have always had the opportunities to gain new experiences and improve my skills in many ways. I’ve been continuing blockchain journey for almost three years now, because I don’t want to miss this wonderful opportunity. I can call the blockchain the magic wand for building my confidence, which has taken me to a new height.
More or less I have been involved with almost every project and have improved my skills through teamwork. I have learned the ways of teamwork and how to build up the good position in difficult situation and the formula of winning the challenges, by connecting with amazing people.
And I want to spread this opportunity in our community, so that they too can dare to dream of changing themselves with the touch of the magic wand of blockchain. To implement this goal, we have jointly launched a new community called Hive-Bangladesh. Based on which I wrote my application today.
1 (a). Hive Bangladesh :
Let’s take a look at some information about the new community that opened just a month ago. We are trying to connect everyone in our community with it, so that we can all unite and take the opportunity to share our experiences in our own language.
Hive Bangladesh - A community for Bangladeshi Bloggers and Vloggers
Subscriber-75, active users-48, interactions-952, pending rewards-$342.
We believe that this will have a great impact on the Bangladeshi community, and the number of our users will continue to grow very quickly. We will be able to connect them here, who will choose Blockchain as the best place to prove their qualifications and talents.
1 (b). Behind the Reason of Hive Bangladesh :
In the last three years of experience, what I’ve seen is, a certain percentage of Bangladeshi users could not do very well due to the lack of proficiency in English. And after a detailed discussion on this issue, we have decided to take this new initiative, three of us, @hafizullah , @priyanarc , @blind-spot.
Now we are trying to create opportunities for them to express their feelings and experiences in their own mother tongue through our community. Our main goal is to create an attitude of working among them in the long term.
It will create interest in them to do and achieve something in this blockchain. On the other hand it will be easier for us to connect more new users with the effect of what they will be able to achieve in this time.
2. Our Community's Focus :
At the moment we have three special plans in front of us, which we are trying to fulfill through the use of our experience. And those are-

If you notice, you will see that a lot of Bangladeshi users are addicted to social sites. And in this case, our first target is Twitter. @priyanarc is doing an excellent job of strengthening our position on Twitter and connecting with Bangladeshis. We are trying to get everyone’s attention through our actions. As a community we are looking at different promotional prospects shared on hive, to get onboard and act upon them.
I have been active in the hive blockchain for almost three years, but I have been active on Twitter for almost 10 years. In ten years I have had the opportunity to connect with different types of people and try to promote hive. After joining the Hive blockchain, I moved away from Facebook and stopped using YouTube. So at the moment I continue to promote hive in a great way via Twitter.
I’ll be promoting hive more on Twitter with our community and other team leaders like @priyanarc, @blind-spot and @rezoanulVibes. We think that videos can easily attract other users on Twitter and in this case our first choice is #Threespeak.
We are drawing them to us by attracting attention and inviting them into the hive community. In the meantime we have been able to connect some of the nice new members on Hive, they are showing their talent in a great way with everyone. We will continue this effort.
In order to keep them engaged in the long run, we are increasing the engagement between them, so that they can stay connected with each other, build a good relationship, which will create interest in working in the long run and increase the experience through information exchange.
3. Our Skills within the Community :
Over the past three years or so I have been involved in almost all popular groups and have had the opportunity to get a closer look at their skills in community management, which I believe will enable me to carry out my responsibilities with confidence. Everyone knows that a leader is not only a leader, but always a good friend to the members of any community and the leader is always active for implementing the objectives of the community.
One more thing to note is that I am not alone here, I have a nice team. We all believe in teamwork. Teamwork plays a great role in making all difficult tasks easier. We have segregated our work, which has made it easier to achieve our goals.
@priyanarc is the Twitter Engagement Leader, whose skills need not be talked about, as she is already doing her job well, with the Threespeak Twitter team. On the other hand, she is promoting Hive with the members of our community through Twitter engagement. Our members are not only active on Twitter, but also trying to connect the community with other members of their family.
@blind-Spot is active as a Community Curation Leader, whose skills and writing quality have been quite admirable in most communities. It is an excellent opportunity for our community to have a skilled leader like him. He is constantly checking the content of all the members and guiding them properly so that everyone is able to further enhance their position and the value of the contents.
We also have @rezoanulVibes as the Moderator of Hive Bangladesh, who jointly organizes regular hangout programs with @blind-Spot. New users have a lot of questions. We answer their questions and help them solve their problems so that they can do better in their field.
4. Introducing Decentralized Community :
This will be the first of its kind within the hive blockchain. A community that reflects the decentralized principles of hive. The idea is to promote decentralization to community users, hive users and to benefit from the qualities of decentralization.
Since Hive is progressing because of its decentralization, it only makes sense that decentralization is taken to an individual level and we will start this by decentralizing our community, one step at a time.
There are many communities within hive, but almost all, if not all, are run by the same people and the decision are taken by the same circle. Decentralizing our community will let the community members shine in the limelight and start developing the community in a way that caters to the members’ interests.
The idea is to have a monthly vote within the community, where 1 member will be voted by the community who will join the leaders and will influence decisions and directions. Every executive order will also face a voting within the leaders, and proposals that receive the majority votes will be excecated.
The plans on introducing something along the line of Proof of stake or Proof of Work is in the blueprints. Gamifying the system will incentivise higher commitment and withdraw any chances of foulplay.
Since this is a new concept, most of the details are still in the woodwork and are under development. We want everyone to have a shot at priority and there will be no inferiority as to “leader” or “member”. Everybody has the chance to be among the leaders and influence the community, and only decentralization can acheive that. In Bengali we have a saying, many heads better than one.
5. The Reasons for Community Manager :
I have already explained the reason behind this, a lot of users in our community are active in the hive blockchain, but they are not getting proper evaluation of their efforts, one of the reasons is not being able to express feelings in their mother tongue.
But in that case, if they get a chance to express their own feelings in the mother tongue through the community, then of course they will become more interested to the Hive Blockchain.
And in this case I would like to direct the community and unite them where it will be easier to motivate more new users to come and unite on a specific platform.
It’s because I believe, when the arrival of new users can be confirmed, the promotion of Hive will be much easier through our community. And everyone’s diligent efforts never fail. So I would like to move forward with combined efforts and show how Hive blockchain can change our lives.
