We all want to present ourselves beautifully to others. That's why we want to tell others about ourselves so that we can grow up with others. That is why we become extravagant. That is, we resort to lies in order to present ourselves as attractive to others. We always lie to cover our big sins.

আমরা প্রত্যেকেই নিজেকে অন্যের কাছে সুন্দর করে উপস্থাপন করতে চাই। সেই জন্য আমরা নিজের সম্পর্কে অন্যের নিকট এমন কিছু তুলে ধরতে চাই যেন অন্যের কাছে আমরা বড় হতে পারি। সেই জন্য আমরা অতিরিক্ত ভাবের দ্বারস্থ হই। অর্থাৎ নিজেকে অন্যের কাছে আকর্ষণীয় করে তুলে ধরার জন্য আমরা মিথ্যার দ্বারস্থ হই। আমাদের বড় পাপকে ঢাকার জন্য আমরা প্রতিনিয়ত মিথ্যা অভিনয় করি।

One day when Karim came from the office and entered his beloved's room, he was shocked by the vision. Because at that time his wife was crying a lot. Karim asked his wife the reason for crying? Then his wife told Karim that a bird was sitting in a tree next to their house today. Then this bird saw me without a veil. So I feel guilty now.

একদিন করিম অফিস থেকে এসে যখন তার প্রিয়তমার রুমে ঢুকলো তখন সে ভিশন হতভম্ব হয় গেল। কেননা তখন তার স্ত্রী ভীষণ কান্না করছিল। করিম তার স্ত্রীর কাছে কান্নার কারন জিজ্ঞেস করল? তখন তার স্ত্রী করিমকে বলল, আজ তাদের বাসার পাশে একটি গাছের ডালায় একটি পাখি বসে ছিল। তখন এই পাখিটি আমাকে ওড়না ছাড়া দেখে ফেলেছে। তাই নিজেকে এখন আমার অপরাধী বোধ হচ্ছে।

Karim became very angry and happy in his mind. Because his wife is so holy! So Karim got angry and cut down the tree. And Karim is very happy in his mind. But a few days later, when he suddenly returned home for emergency work, he saw that his wife was involved in adultery. He was very upset to see it and left the house.

করিম খুব রাগান্বিত হলো এবং মনে মনে খুশি হল। কারণ তার বউ কতটা পবিত্র! তাই করিম রেগে গিয়ে গাছটি কেটে ফেলল। এবং করিম মনে মনে অনেক খুশি। কিন্তু কিছুদিন পর হঠাৎ যখন জরুরী কাজে বাসায় ফিরলো তখন সে দেখল, তার স্ত্রী পরকীয়ায় লিপ্ত। সে এটি দেখে খুব কষ্ট পেল এবং বাসা ছেড়ে অনেক দূর চলে গেল।

Karim did not expect this from his beloved. So he has left his family and career and gone far away. So he is very depressed. At that time he noticed that there was a religious leader in the area. Who walks on two toes. The reason is that if he walks with full legs, the small creature may fall under his feet and die. In that fear, the religious leader walked on two toes. Everyone respects and worships that person a lot. Many even think of him as a holy person .

করিম তার প্রিয়তমার কাছে এরকম আশা করেনি। তাই সে সংসার, কর্মজীবন ফেলে দিয়ে অনেক দূরে চলে এসেছে। তাই সে খুবই বিষণ্ণ। এমন সময় সে খেয়াল করল ওই অঞ্চলে একটি ধর্মীয় নেতা আছে। যিনি পায়ের দুই আঙ্গুলে ভর করে হাটাহাটি করে থাকেন। তার কারণ হচ্ছে সে সম্পূর্ণ পায়ের পাতা ছেলে হাঁটলে তার পায়ের নিচে পড়ে ক্ষুদ্র জীব মারা যেতে পারে। সেই আশঙ্কায় ধর্মীয় নেতাটি পায়ের দুই আঙ্গুলে ভর করে চলে। সকলেই ওই লোককে অনেক শ্রদ্ধা করি এবং ভক্তি করি। এমনকি অনেকেই ওই লোককে দেবতুল্য মনে করে।

After some time, some soldiers arrested Karim. The reason is that a bowl of gold of the landlords has been lost in that area. So Karim is a stranger in this area and is walking randomly. So he was arrested on suspicion and taken to the landlord's palace. The landlord's asked Karim to confess to the theft. Karim said I did not steal. But I can tell who stole it! Everyone was surprised. Then the landlord's asked Karim the name of the thief? Karim Ball, the religious leader of your area has stolen your gold bowl and I am absolutely sure about that.

কিছু সময় পর কিছু সৈন্য করিমকে গ্রেপ্তার করলো। তার কারণ হলো ওই অঞ্চলে জমিদার এর স্বর্ণের একটি বাটি হারিয়ে গেছে। তাই এই অঞ্চলে করিম অপরিচিত লোক এবং এলোমেলোভাবে হাঁটাহাঁটি করছে। তাই সন্দেহ করে তাকে গ্রেপ্তার করে জমিদারের প্রাসাদে নিয়ে যাওয়া হল। জমিদার করিমকে চুরির অপরাধ স্বীকার করার জন্য বলল। করিম বলল আমি চুরি করি নাই। তবে কে চুরি করেছে সেটা আমি বলতে পারবো! সবাই অবাক হয়ে গেল। তখন জমিদার করিমের কাছে চোরের নাম জিজ্ঞেস করলো? করিম বল আপনাদের এলাকার ধর্মীয় নেতা আপনার স্বর্ণের বাটি চুরি করেছে এবং আমি এই ব্যাপারে সম্পূর্ণ নিশ্চিত।

Then some soldiers grabbed the holy man and brought him back. The landlord ordered a search of the man's entire body. When the soldiers searched the religious leader in full body. Then he found the gold bowl next to him. And with that everyone was surprised. Then the landlord asked Karim how he understood about the thief? Then Karim said ---

সবাই অবাক এবং হতভম্ব হয়ে গেল। জমিদার বলল যদি তোমার ধারনা ভুল হয় তোমাকে মৃত্যুদণ্ড দেয়া হবে। তুমি যাকে চোর সাব্যস্ত করেছো সে একজন পবিত্র লোক। করিম বলল আমাকে যে শাস্তি দেন সে শাস্তি আমি মাথা পেতে নেব! তারপর কিছু সৈন্য পবিত্র লোকটিকে ধরে নিয়ে আসলো। জমিদার লোকটির সম্পূর্ণ শরীর তালাশ করার নির্দেশ দিলেন। সৈন্যরা যখন ধর্মীয় নেতা সম্পূর্ণ বডিতে সার্চ করলেন। তখন তার কাছে স্বর্ণের বাটি খুঁজে পেলেন। এবং সেই সাথে সবাই অবাক হয়ে গেলেন। তখন জমিদার করিম এর কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করল কিভাবে সে চোর সম্পর্কে বুঝতে পেরেছে? তখন করিম বলল---

When a person acting extra! Then it must be understood that he wants to cover a big sin. (যখন কোন লোক অতিরিক্ত অভিনয় করে! তখন বুঝতে হবে সে বড় কোনো পাপকে ঢাকা দিতে চায়।)

Moral

Honestly, we don't think in terms of point to make lies true in order to present ourselves as good to others in our personal lives. Personally, I am no exception. Personally, we always act in our lives. But this performance often becomes so much more like the graphics design used in the movie. Which is the complete opposite of the real. That is why we are in such a state today.

সত্যি বলতে, আমরা আমাদের ব্যক্তিগত জীবনে নিজেকে অন্যের কাছে ভালো হিসেবে উপস্থাপন করার জন্য, মিথ্যাকে সত্য বানাতে বিন্দু পরিমান চিন্তা করিনা। ব্যক্তিগতভাবে আমিও এর ব্যতিক্রম নই। ব্যক্তিগত আমাদের জীবনে প্রতিনিয়তই অভিনয় করি। কিন্তু এই অভিনয় অনেক সময় এতটাই বেশি হয়ে যায় যে অনেকটা মুভিতে ব্যবহৃত গ্রাফিক্স ডিজাইনের মত। যা বাস্তব থেকে সম্পূর্ণই উল্টো। তাই আজ আমাদের এত অধঃপতন।
