Angustia y desesperación

Cuando finalmente pude completar todo el dinero me fijé que el pasaporte estaba en 906,00 bolivares digital y al cambio en dólares era alrededor de $192 dólares más o menos, no sabía quién podía comprarme los $200 dólares porque para poder pagar el pasaporte tenía que hacerlo en bolivares digital o en petros que es una criptomoneda anclada al banco central de Venezuela (BCV), así que la opción más cómoda y fácil para mi era convertir mis $200 dólares en bolivares, fui nuevamente al negocio del amigo de mi papá y el señor me ayudo a vender, pero eso fue en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, en menos de 5 minutos y ya estaban vendidos y yo tenía el dinero en mi cuenta de banco.
Bien, cuando ya tenía el dinero en mi cuenta bancaria pensaba listo, estoy hecha, sólo tengo que entrar a la página del SAIME (El Servicio Administrativo de Identificación, Migración y Extranjería) y pagar, pues no amigos. Cuando ingresé en la página del SAIME, hice la solicitud de pasaporte nuevo y llené todos los datos, la página me pide el pago, me dirigí a la parte dónde se realiza el pago, coloco los datos de mi banco y antes de presionar aceptar me persino y me encomiendo a Dios, porque $200 dólares tal vez no sea mucho para algunas personas pero para mi fue un enorme sacrifio ahorrarlos, y como han pasado casos en diversos usuarios en que la página descuenta el dinero del banco, pero en la página del SAIME no sale el pago exitoso, después de que presioné aceptar me salió un mensaje en que me decía que la plataforma del banco estaba presentando fallas y que intentara más tarde. Rápidamente le comenté a un amigo que ya el se había sacado el pasaporte unos meses antes, y me comentó que el no tuvo ningún inconveniente para poder pagar su pasaporte, la página solo tiene dos bancos suscritos al método de pago, como son: Banco de Venezuela y Banco Mercantil.
Me empecé a asustar, porque la página del SAIME siempre ha tenido problemas, y el valor del pasaporte aumenta todos los días, la angustia y desesperación se apoderó de mí, volví a intentar el pago de nuevo en la madrugada y me salía el mismo mensaje, no sabía que hacer me sentía muy angustiada y preocupada de que el dinero se me fuera a devaluar por la inflación.

Le comenté a otro amigo de mi confianza mi situación, el se ofreció a prestarme su cuenta de banco Mercantil, en está ocasión me sentía más calmada y serena, volví a intentar hacer el pago nuevamente pero en está oportunidad la página no cargaba y me eliminaba las preguntas de seguridad, pensé que era un error mio y volví a colocar mis preguntas de seguridad pero nuevamente la página eliminaba mis preguntas de seguridad, comprendí que era la página que tenía problemas para realizar el pago. Hablé con mi amigo, el se lamentó por la situación y me devolvió el dinero, en esa transacción perdí dinero por las comisiones, y para completar el pasaporte ya estaba en 910.00 bolivares digitales, había aumentado 4,00 bolivares digitales el equivalente a un $1 dólar, mi amigo me sugirió que preguntara en las redes sociales del SAIME.
Cuando revise el perfil del SAIME en instagram, no vi ningún post del SAIME en que hablarán sobre las fallas que la página estaba presentando, sin embargo, en los comentarios muchos eran los usuarios quienes se quejaban de que no podían realizar los pagos por los 2 bancos afiliados ni mucho menos por petros, así que me dispuse a leer los comentarios e incluso a interactuar con otros usuarios, ya habían pasado 3 días en que no tenía éxito con el pago de mi pasaporte.
Al cuarto día, ya el pasaporte estaba en 915,00 bolivares digitales y estaba dándome por vencida con la página del SAIME, incluso estaba considerando buscar la forma en como convertir todo ese dinero de nuevo en dólares, cuando me llego una notificación en instagram y era uno de los usuarios diciendo que pudo pagar su pasaporte usando una cuenta nueva, al principio pensé que era mentira, decidí escribirle por privado y le pregunté como hizo exactamente, pensé que no me iba a responder pero para mi sorpresa ese usuario fue muy amable y me respondio cada una de mis dudas y preguntas, me animé y decidi intentarlo.
Una felicidad indescriptible
Para pagar el pasaporte, tenía que usar una cuenta nueva o mejor dicho una cuenta nueva que no tuviera relación con el usuario del SAIME, así que hablé con un amigo que tiene cuenta en el Banco de Venezuela, el me prestó su cuenta, nuevamente llené todos los datos y cuando le di aceptar me encomendé a Dios, al darle aceptar me pidió un código en ese momento le escribí a mi amigo pidiéndole el código, mi corazón latía con fuerza y mis manos estaban heladas de los nervios, mi amigo me envió el código, coloqué el código y automáticamente me salió el pago exitoso, el grito de felicidad y alegría que di no fue normal jajaja mi papá me regaño por el alboroto y no paraba de darle las gracias a Dios porque todo salió bien, al final pagué 915,00 bolivares digital, el 17 de noviembre del 2021 pude pagar mi pasaporte y ese mismo día me dieron la cita para el 10 de diciembre del 2021, tarde alrededor de 4 días para poder pagar.
Fui al SAIME el 10 de diciembre del 2021 a primera hora, llevé todo los documentos que piden para la renovación del pasaporte, y todo fue muy rápido y ordenado en la oficina del SAIME, de hecho los primeros que pasamos fuimos nosotros los de renovación de pasaporte, una de las personas que estaba haciendo la cola conmigo hizo un comentario sarcástico:
-Menos mal que nos atienden rápido y con eficiencia, con lo caro que está este pasaporte tienen que darnos prioridad.
En efecto, los primeros en terminar trámites fuimos nosotros los de pasaporte y me quedé pensando en ese comentario mientras terminaba mis trámites, cuando terminé le pregunté al empleado que me atendió en cuanto tiempo mi pasaporte estaría listo, el me contestó que aproximadamente un mes, es decir, para el 10 de enero.
El 10 de enero fui a la oficina del SAIME con mucha ilusión a retirar mi pasaporte, para mi sorpresa la valija dónde venía mi pasaporte no había sido enviada y me dijeron que para después del 20 de enero volviera, fuí el 28 de enero con más ilusión y está vez mi pasaporte estaba listo y esperando por mi, estaba vez si tarde un poco porque los retiros demoran un poco más, hice mi cola esperé mi turno y una de las empleadas me entregó mi pasaporte y me hizo firmar un recibido, una vez que salí del SAIME me sentía feliz y muy agradecida con Dios por tener mi documento de identidad en mis manos y sentí como me quitaba un enorme peso de encima.
Bueno amigos, esto ha sido mi experiencia, espero que sirva de orientación para aquellos venezolanos que estan en #hive y el SAIME no les dejé pagar el pasaporte, gracias por leer, hasta la próxima.

In this opportunity I want to tell you about my experience and how frustrating it was for me to get my Venezuelan passport. Obtaining an identity document, such as a passport, anywhere in the world for sure is something easy, without so many complications, you make the application, you pay some receipt, they give you an appointment, and they give you your passport in a couple of days or at most in a week, of course that depends on each country, but as far as I investigated it is less than a week.
It is no secret that Venezuela is going through a difficult socio-political situation, and that there is a gigantic inflation, and every year the price of the passport increases to exhorbitant levels and that for a common citizen to obtain an identity document as important as the passport is a luxury. Since 2020 I have been saving money to get my passport, taking out most of my salary to buy foreign currency and the little I have left I use it to help in my house, and I went to the business of a friend of my father, There were times when I would stay until 3pm waiting for a salesman to come out, and so I was from the beginning of 2020 until November 2021 when I could finally reach the $200 dollars, which is the value of the new passport.

When I could finally complete all the money I noticed that the passport was in 906.00 bolivares digital and the exchange rate in dollars was about $192 dollars more or less, I did not know who could buy me the $200 dollars because in order to pay the passport I had to do it in digital bolivares or in petros which is a cryptocurrency anchored to the central bank of Venezuela (BCV), So the easiest and most comfortable option for me was to convert my $200 dollars into bolivars, I went again to my dad's friend's store and he helped me to sell, but that was in the blink of an eye, in less than 5 minutes and they were already sold and I had the money in my bank account.
Well, when I had the money in my bank account I thought ready, I'm done, I just have to enter the SAIME page (The Administrative Service of Identification, Migration and Foreigners) and pay, well no friends. When I entered the SAIME website, I made the request for a new passport and filled out all the data, the page asks me for payment, I go to the part where the payment is made, I put my bank data and before pressing accept I pray to God, because $200 dollars may not be much for some people but for me it was a huge sacrifice to save them, And as there have been cases in different users in which the page deducts the money from the bank, but the SAIME page does not show the successful payment, after I pressed accept I got a message telling me that the bank's platform was failing and to try again later. I quickly told a friend that he had already obtained his passport a few months before, and he told me that he did not have any problem to pay his passport, the page only has two banks subscribed to the payment method, such as: Banco de Venezuela and Banco Mercantil.
I started to get scared, because the SAIME website has always had problems, and the value of the passport increases every day, the anxiety and desperation took over me, I tried to pay again at dawn and I got the same message, I did not know what to do, I felt very anxious and worried that the money would be devalued by inflation.

I told another trusted friend about my situation, he offered to lend me his Mercantil bank account, this time I felt calmer and serene, I tried to make the payment again but this time the page did not load and eliminated the security questions, I thought it was my mistake and I put my security questions again but again the page eliminated my security questions, I understood that it was the page that had problems to make the payment. I talked to my friend, he was sorry for the situation and gave me back the money, in that transaction I lost money for the commissions, and to complete the passport was already at 910.00 digital bolivars, it had increased 4.00 digital bolivars the equivalent of a $1 dollar, my friend suggested me to ask in the social networks of SAIME.
When I checked the SAIME profile on instagram, I did not see any post from SAIME talking about the failures that the page was presenting, however, in the comments many users were complaining that they could not make payments by the 2 affiliated banks much less by petros, so I set out to read the comments and even interact with other users, it had already been 3 days that I had no success with the payment of my passport.
By the fourth day, the passport was already at 915.00 digital bolivars and I was giving up with the SAIME page, I was even considering how to convert all that money back to dollars, when I got a notification on instagram and it was one of the users saying that he was able to pay his passport using a new account, At first I thought it was a lie, I decided to write him privately and asked him exactly how he did it, I thought he was not going to answer me but to my surprise that user was very kind and answered every one of my doubts and questions, I was encouraged and decided to try it.
Indescribable happiness
To pay for the passport, I had to use a new account or rather a new account that was not related to the user of SAIME, so I talked to a friend who has an account at Banco de Venezuela, he lent me his account, again I filled all the data and when I gave him accept I entrusted me to God, when I gave him accept he asked me for a code at that moment I wrote to my friend asking him for the code, my heart was beating hard and my hands were cold from nerves, My friend sent me the code, I put the code and automatically I got the successful payment, the cry of happiness and joy that I gave was not normal hahaha my dad scolded me for the fuss and kept thanking God because everything went well, in the end I paid 915.00 bolivares digital, on November 17, 2021 I could pay my passport and that same day they gave me the appointment for December 10, 2021, it took about 4 days to pay.
I went to the SAIME on December 10, 2021 first thing in the morning, I took all the documents they ask for the passport renewal, and everything was very fast and orderly in the SAIME office, in fact the first ones to pass were us, the passport renewals, one of the people who was standing in line with me made a sarcastic comment:
-Good thing they serve us quickly and efficiently, with how expensive this passport is, they have to give us priority.
In fact, the first ones to finish the paperwork were us passport holders and I kept thinking about that comment while I was finishing my paperwork, when I finished I asked the employee who attended me how long it would take for my passport to be ready, he told me that it would take about a month, that is, by January 10th.
On January 10 I went to the Saime office with great illusion to pick up my passport, to my surprise the suitcase where my passport came had not been sent and they told me to come back after January 20, I went on January 28 with more illusion and this time my passport was ready and waiting for me, I waited in line for my turn and one of the employees gave me my passport and made me sign a receipt, once I left the SAIME I felt happy and very grateful to God for having my identity card in my hands and I felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders.
