Hola amigos de #HIVE, un cordial saludo a todas las personas que hacen vida en está plataforma, en especial a la comunidad de @catarsis.
He estado muy ausente de #HIVE debido a que estoy muy limitada de tiempo, justo ahora dispongo de unos minutos para mí y quiero aprovecharlos al máximo y poder volver a estar más activa en #HIVE.
En este post quiero hablar sobre la adaptación a los cambios, estoy ahora en Italia, Roma y estoy haciendo un curso para capacitarme y acreditarme como entrenadora de ajedrez para poder dar clases de ajedrez a los niños italianos.
El idioma italiano tiene cierta similitud con el español, hay algunas palabras que son muy parecidas y significan lo mismo para los dos idiomas, sin embargo, hay palabras que en español significan una cosa pero en el italiano es otra cosa, por ejemplo, cuando un italiano dice: <> significa mira, ve, en cambio para nosotros en español significa guardar alguna cosa, objeto, etc.
Es aquí dónde el idioma pesa o mejor dicho surgen problemas para poder comunicarse, tengo dos meses en Italia y para mi ha sido un poco difícil el tema del idioma en el sentido de que me ha costado soltar la lengua por así decirlo, porque yo escucho a un italiano hablar y entiendo lo que dice o mejor dicho logro darle sentido a sus palabras y en mi cabeza ordeno las oraciones y comprendo su idioma, claro debo mencionar que los italianos, algunos no todos, hablan con mucha rapidez y de verdad que ahí no entiendo absolutamente nada, me pierdo.
Mi base en italiano ha sido más que todo gracias a la aplicación de duolingo, con ella he podido defenderme un poco aquí en Roma, pero no es suficiente, debo hacer un curso dónde aprender el idioma como tal, pero este inicia en septiembre y apenas estamos en mayo, 4 meses en espera y no puedo darme ese lujo porque tengo la presión de que debo aprender el idioma para poder dar clases de ajedrez a los niños italianos, he incluso cualquier actividad o curso de capacitación que desea hacer necesito sí porque sí saber el idioma.
Como lo he mencionado anteriormente en otros post, soy jugadora de ajedrez y también entrenadora, tuve la oportunidad de jugar un torneo de ajedrez acá en Roma, y conocer a personas de las 64 casillas, y aunque en ese momento mi capacidad de entender o comprender la lengua italiana no era la misma que ahora tengo, a pesar de las diferencias que puedan existir de culturas entre europa y latinoamérica en el ajedrez o mejor dicho en el deporte sólo existe un idioma único y universal, pude comunicarme con los italianos a través del ajedrez y se sintió de maravilla, fue un torneo nuevo para mi y con una sabor agridulce porque perdí el campeonato en la 5ta ronda y me ubiqué en el tercer lugar.
Todas las personas fueron amables conmigo y me hicieron sentir cómoda y a gusto con ellos, incluso habían dos chicos que tuvieron la amabilidad de conversar conmigo en español, algunos en inglés y otros bueno en italiano, por supuesto, la experiencia de ese torneo fue increíble, disfrute mucho el torneo, aunque para ser honesta como no conocía a nadie, hubo un momento en que estábamos en un compartir y todos hablaban en italiano y me sentí ajena, como que no pertenecía allí, en ese momento sólo tenía un par de semanas de haber llegado a Roma, y aunque ninguno de ellos fue grosero o desagradable conmigo, al contrario todos fueron muy amigables y amables, pero justo en ese momento sentí como pesa el idioma, fue horrible, yo quería hablar y conversar con ellos, quería sentirme parte del grupo pero no pude, porque sencillamente no hablé, simplemente me quedé callada y escuchaba atentamente como ellos hablaban en su lengua. La sensación fue un poquito horrible pero bueno…
El proceso de adaptación no ha sido fácil pero tampoco imposible, he tenido mis días difíciles en los cuales he tenido la necesidad de hablar, desahogarme y no he podido, por eso me urgía sacar tiempo para volver a #HIVE, no sé qué piensen las demás personas que hacen vida en #HIVE, pero para mí escribir es como una manera sana de drenar las frustraciones y liberar un poco el estrés.
Tampoco salgo mucho para despejar la mente, pero cuando lo hago trato en la medida de lo posible disfrutar y pasármelo bien, y tampoco me he relacionado con los italianos, los que hasta ahora conozco son los del torneo que jugué y algunos señores que trabajan en el club donde estoy registrada como atleta, ellos también son muy amables y atentos conmigo, de hecho el sábado pasado ellos iniciaron una jornada de ajedrez y me invitaron a participar, asistí, me la pasé increíble, jugué como 5 partidas con un señor el cual no hablaba español, sin embargo, yo le hablé un poco en italiano, el me entendió y fue muy amable, comprensivo y atento conmigo.
Hace unos pocos días hice un curso en las instalaciones de la UISP que en italiano seria (Unidad Italiana Sportiva Pertutti) lo que significa unidad italiana deportiva para todos, en el curso no hablé, sin embargo, entendí muy bien todo lo que sé habló de hecho sentí las ganas de intervenir una que otra vez pero me detenía por el hecho de que no sabía como expresar mi pensamiento por aún no saber hablarlo muy, pero me gustó mucho porque pude entender a la perfección lo que se habló en el curso y porque aunque no hablé mucho, conocí a más personas.
Todos me dicen una vez que domines el idioma tu situación cambiara, y es aquí donde me siento más presionada que nunca, porque la escuela como tal empieza en septiembre, duolingo no enseña tanto como yo quisiera, así que aquí estoy, navegando en aguas desconocidas, a paso lento y explorando poco a poco.
A veces, en momentos así nos desesperamos y sentimos que vamos a flaquear, en mi caso sólo me concentro y pido a Dios que me de mucha fortaleza, paciencia, sabiduría y mucho entendimiento para saber llevar las cosas poco a poco y con la mejor actitud, y como dicen el que persevera vence.
Me siento mejor al hablar un poco de está situación, porque cada persona va a su ritmo, yo apenas tengo 2 meses en Italia y siento que es un avance el hecho de qué entiendo cuando alguien me habla, por eso me digo a mi misma ánimo, paciencia, mucha constancia y perseverancia, para quienes me leen les digo lo mismo, todo saldrá bien y como decimos en Venezuela pa' lante es pa' allá.

In this post I want to talk about adapting to changes, I'm now in Italy, Rome and I'm doing a course to get qualified and accredited as a chess trainer to be able to teach chess to Italian children.
The Italian language has some similarities with Spanish, there are some words that are very similar and mean the same for both languages, however, there are words that in Spanish mean one thing but in Italian is another thing, for example, when an Italian says: guarda means look, see, instead for us in Spanish means to keep something, object, etc...
It is here where the language weighs or rather problems arise to be able to communicate, I have two months in Italy and for me it has been a little difficult the language issue in the sense that it has cost me to loosen the language so to speak, because I hear an Italian speak and I understand what he says or rather I manage to make sense of his words and in my head I order the sentences and understand their language, of course I must mention that Italians, some not all, speak very quickly and really there I do not understand absolutely nothing, I get lost.
My base in Italian has been mostly thanks to the duolingo application, with it I have been able to defend myself a little here in Rome, but it is not enough, I must take a course where I learn the language as such, but this starts in September and we are just in May, 4 months waiting and I can not afford that luxury because I have the pressure that I must learn the language to be able to give chess lessons to Italian children, and even any activity or training course you want to do I need if because if I know the language.
As I have mentioned before in another post, I am a chess player and also a trainer, I had the opportunity to play a chess tournament here in Rome, and meet people from the 64 squares, and although at that time my ability to understand or understand the Italian language was not the same as I now have, despite the differences that may exist in cultures between Europe and Latin America in chess or rather in the sport there is only one single and universal language, I could communicate with the Italians through chess and felt wonderful, it was a new tournament for me and with a bittersweet taste because I lost the championship in the 5th round and I was placed in third place.
All the people were kind to me and made me feel comfortable and at ease with them, there were even two guys who were kind enough to talk to me in Spanish, some in English and others well in Italian, of course, the experience of that tournament was incredible, I enjoyed the tournament very much, although to be honest as I did not know anyone, there was a moment when we were in a sharing and everyone spoke in Italian and I felt alien, like I did not belong there, at that moment I had only arrived in Rome a couple of weeks ago, and although none of them was rude or unpleasant to me, on the contrary they were all very friendly and kind, but just at that moment I felt how the language weighed, it was horrible, I wanted to talk and converse with them, I wanted to feel part of the group but I could not, because I simply did not speak, I just kept quiet and listened attentively as they spoke in their language. The feeling was a little bit horrible but well....
The process of adaptation has not been easy but not impossible, I have had my difficult days in which I have had the need to talk, to unburden myself and I have not been able to, that's why I urgently needed time to return to #HIVE, I don't know what the other people who live in #HIVE think, but for me writing is like a healthy way to drain frustrations and release a little stress.
I don't go out much to clear my mind, but when I do I try as much as possible to enjoy and have a good time, and I haven't met Italians either, the ones I know so far are the ones from the tournament I play in and some gentlemen who work at the club where I am registered as an athlete, They are also very kind and attentive to me, in fact last Saturday they started a chess day and invited me to participate, I attended, I had an incredible time, I played about 5 games with a man who did not speak Spanish, however, I spoke a little Italian, he understood me and was very kind, understanding and attentive to me.
A few days ago I took a course at the UISP facilities which in Italian would be (Unidad Italiana Sportiva Pertutti) which means Italian sports unit for all, in the course I did not speak, however, I understood very well everything that was spoken in fact I felt like intervening one or the other but I stopped myself because I did not know how to express my thoughts for not knowing how to speak it very well, but I really liked it because I could understand perfectly what was spoken in the course and because although I did not speak much I knew more people.
NoEveryone tells me that once you master the language your situation will change, and it is here where I feel more pressured than ever, because the school as such starts in September, duolingo does not teach as much as I would like, so here I am, navigating in unknown waters, slowly and exploring little by little.
Sometimes, in moments like this we despair and feel that we are going to falter, in my case I just concentrate and ask God to give me a lot of strength, patience, wisdom and a lot of understanding to know how to take things little by little and with the best attitude, and as they say he who perseveres wins.
I feel better to talk a little about this situation, because each person goes at his own pace, I have just 2 months in Italy and I feel that it is an advance the fact that I understand when someone speaks to me, so I say to myself courage, patience, perseverance and perseverance, for those who read me I say the same thing, everything will be fine and as we say in Venezuela pa' lante es pa' allá.
