¡Hola! Buenas noches mis estimados amigos de Hive, en esta oportunidad quiero contarles que después de varios meses de intentos tratando de que me retiren el implante anticonceptivo subdermico, hoy por fin me lo retiraron.

Como ya les había mencionado en el post de hace algunas semanas, desde enero de este año no me estaba sintiendo bien, mi periodo estaba descontrolado, tenía malestares tales como fuertes dolores de cabeza que la verdad no los soportaba, mareos, entre otros síntomas causados por este implante anticonceptivo subdermico.
Para poder retirarlo tuve que cambiar de ginecólogo, ya que este me insistía que no me lo sacara porque estaban escasos y que era la mejor forma de cuidarse, yo pienso que si es la mejor forma de cuidarse porque no tenemos que estar tomando pastillas a diario o incluso colocarnos inyecciones mes a mes, hasta ahora me ha funcionado bien, por el hecho de que no he quedado embarazada, pero me estaba desde enero haciendo daño y no estaba bien porque estaba perjudicando mi salud.
El día 7 de julio saque una cita con una ginecóloga que me recomendaron, le estuve comentando todo lo que me estaba sucediendo, desde que me coloque el implante hasta el descontrol que tuve en estos meses con mi menstruación y los dolores tan fuertes de cabeza que han estado dando, ella me dijo que esto era por el implante que porque no me lo habían retirado.

In order to remove it I had to change gynecologist, since he insisted me not to take it out because they were scarce and that it was the best way to take care of myself, I think it is the best way to take care of myself because we do not have to be taking pills daily or even get injections every month, so far it has worked well for me, because I have not become pregnant, but it was hurting me since January and it was not right because it was harming my health.
On July 7th I made an appointment with a gynecologist that was recommended to me, I was telling her everything that was happening to me, since I had the implant placed until the lack of control I had in these months with my menstruation and the strong headaches that have been giving me, she told me that this was because of the implant that because I had not had it removed.
Yo le comenté que el ginecólogo con el que me lo coloque no quería sacármelo porque todos esos síntomas eran normales causados por el implante anticonceptivo que, sin embargo, me había mandado pastillas para regular por lo menos la menstruación, pero las pastillas me acusaban aún más daño.
Ella me dijo: okay entonces lo primero que haremos es hacerte una citología para chequear que todo esté bien allá bajo, y en unas semanas cuando esté el resultado te lo sacamos ayer me llamó para entregarme los resultados de la citología y todo estaba bien me dijo que viniera el día lunes ósea hoy para retirarlo.
Así que hoy me fui a las 4:00 pm a mi cita con mi nueva ginecóloga para que me retire el implante anticonceptivo subdérmico, luego de hacerme algunas preguntas procedió a retirarlo, lo primero que hizo fue desinfectar el área con alcohol seguidamente procedió a colocar un poco de anestesia local para dormir el brazo, luego con un bisturí hizo una muy pequeña fisura para retirar el anticonceptivo allí.

She told me: okay then the first thing we will do is to do a cytology to check that everything is fine down there, and in a few weeks when the results are in, we will take it out, yesterday she called me to give me the results of the cytology and everything was fine, she told me to come on Monday, that is, today to remove it.
So today I went at 4:00 pm to my appointment with my new gynecologist to remove the subdermal contraceptive implant, after asking me some questions she proceeded to remove it, the first thing she did was to disinfect the area with alcohol, then she proceeded to place some local anesthesia to numb the arm, then with a scalpel she made a very small crack to remove the contraceptive there.
Para retirar el implante la ginecóloga se tardó treinta minutos, ya que se me había encastrado el implante en la carne y le costaba sacarlo, pero gracias a Dios lo pudo retirar, para finalizar me volvió a desinfectar el área con alcohol y me coloco una gasa con una cinta. Me mando a guardar reposo durante 4 días.
Estoy muy feliz porque por fin me retiraron el implante anticonceptivo y mi estado de salud mejorara, la ginecóloga me mando unas pastillas anticonceptivas para regular la menstruación y cuidarme de no quedar embarazada, me dijo que si no me prestaban o me causaban algún daño la cambiaríamos por otra hasta conseguir la sea adecuada con mi organismo.
To remove the implant the gynecologist took thirty minutes, since the implant had become embedded in my flesh and it was difficult to remove it, but thank God she was able to remove it, and finally she disinfected the area with alcohol and placed a gauze with a tape. He ordered me to rest for 4 days.
I am very happy because they finally removed the contraceptive implant and my health condition improved, the gynecologist sent me some contraceptive pills to regulate menstruation and take care not to get pregnant, she told me that if they did not work or caused me any damage we would change it for another one until we get the right one for my body.
