For a long time we have been aware of bear activity around our property but have (thankfully) never seen any IRL or caught any on the trail cam until this weekend!
They have left 💩 in our driveway and also ripped apart the neighbors trash. Funny enough but both my mother and father have seen bears in the road just seconds from our house after leaving. I was so shocked to check the footage and see we had finally caught sight of them. It was 2 cubs with no mama bear in sight

This is one of my favorite interactions I caught, we have a barrel we throw weeds, plant cutting, some compost and woodstove ash in. It attracts a lot of animals so we set up the camera here for a bit.
As you can see there's a hole in the side. I was struggling to understand what the heck stuck it's face out of the hole and hissed at the raccoon. I had to slow it down and look at it frame by frame to figure it out. At first I thought it was a turtle but after rewatching I realize it's a MOLE. They look so weird with their tiny head and huge paws LOL:
It's pretty incredible to know that there is so much activity happening at night. When I am hanging out on the patio in the evening I often here crackling sounds in the bushes so the trail cam has been great!
