It may surprise you that I am not referring to a car, a big TV screen or pointing to the house itself. I don't even want the type of house I live in as mine, hahaha. Am still trying my best, it's old already. I hope that one day, I will get a befitting mansion HsHaha. But as humble as my home is, there is this particular item, can I say load? Or property? 😅😅 NO, item is ok for it. There's one item I cherish so much in my house. This hardworking machine I got here.
MY SEWING MACHINE
Believing that my kids are not included in the matter. Else I will choose my girls, you know right? 😅
WHY I CHERISH IT SO MUCH
I cherish this machine so much because it brings back memories. Two things come to mind when I see this machine each day in my house.
First, I bought it during Covid-19
This sewing machine was bought at a time the whole World was locked down. No work, no serious activity, other than to stay at home, rub hand sanitizer many times in a day and do not remove your face mask. 😅😅
So the machine was bought during Covid-19 to keep me busy. I was inspired to buy it because a tailor I know, living near my house had to bring her machines and other work tools to the house due to the lock down. So I decided to use that opportunity to learn how to make dresses no matter how simple. She was the one who advised that I bought the machine in order to be taking assignments home. And it worked out well.
Did you know that I can make dresses now? Although I don't have time now because of my work, but if I create time and put my mind into it, I can make dresses. I have made several for kids and I.

See the first one ever, that I made. It may not be so fine but I was proud I could put on what I made myself both blouse and skirt💃
And then I made a second one. I love this one, especially because the fabric was inherited from my grandmother. 😅. It was one of her best wrappers while alive and before she died, she told me that when she is no more, I should take that wrapper, even if to cover myself from cold. So I made it into a dress. How do you see it? Beautiful isn't it?

I bought it with the money from my wallet . 💃 For so long I wanted to be a writer online, creating contents and making money from it. Although that wasn't my first time of withdrawing, I also bought my washing machine with money from blogging. However, this machine is a blessing because I know anytime, any day I could make extra money from it, sewing with it. When I told my family members and friends about this free gift I got from writing and engaging, three of my family members rushed in to come and earn too. I can't even remember their names here again but one was @webclick and three others. But they didn't stay for six months and ran back.They are not sure they can out in all the work needed here.
I have really enjoyed finding a platform to blog and also engage in cryptocurrency. It has been wonderful streaming in this World. I will not be able to mention other ways I have been blessed by engaging in this way of life. It has help me even more than my secular job has. Yes, especially with some airdrops alongside. I hope to continue to do my best here and continue to bask and wax stronger here.
