We all have different ways of handling the issues we face. This week we want to know — Who is the first person you would call (family/friend) when you face a problem and why? Or if you're the type to solve issues by yourself, tell us why as well.
Honestly, this question gat me thinking because in our language theirs this quote. Amaghi m onye mu eze. Which simply means, i dont know whom to avoid. You are wondering 🤔 why i made this statement right? Don't worry my dear let me explain it to you. Since i lost my parents, my mother precisely, everyone is a suspect to me. Why? Humans has proven to me that they're not trustworthy on many occasions. That doesn't mean i don't have trusted family members. I do, but sometimes, i see it as a disturbance to them knowing how the economy is right now, i prefer handling my problems in my own way because i don't want to bother my family with my challenges
Something happened in my street today. Am using it as an example here. Two advanced men where quarreling today over money. At a point, one of them started abusing the other, calling him a pastor that sleeps with people's wife. He knew that his friend slepts with people's wife and he kept quiet. Only to vomit it out over a little dispute. Not only that, i once had a friend whom assisted me when i had problems. Infact, i call her for every challenge am facing. Guess what? When we had little misunderstanding, the whole street heard about my story both truths and lies. With these two instances here, i had learned to handle my problems on my own. I can only call on family members when my life is in danger but on normal lives anxieties, i take care of them on my own ooo 😂.
Why i prefer handling my problems.
Theirs this other quote in my dialect which says, koro onye, koro onye! Onye odiri ka odiri. Which means, if you like share your problems to everyone, it's still left to you to solve it. It's not all about sharing my problems but the ability solve it. Because, people are not going to solve it for me. My problem is mine not theirs. Sometimes after calling a friend or family members to share your issues with them, you have become an object of mockery. Even your own family members will tell people it's because of your evi deeds that you are facing difficult challenges. To avoid insults or fighting with anyone, i tackle my problems on my own.
Seriously, no one is ready to help anyone now. Why should i bother myself calling friends and family members and at the end of the day, i became a topic of discussion? The only thing i can receive is eyaah!! Just find away to sort it out 😜.
Another reason why i handle my problems is because i believe that i can do it. I'm an adult, i know what's good to me. I work hard to get myself what i want so, i strongly believe that i can Care for my challenges too. Am a person that values privacy, i wouldn't want anyone to interrupt my private life. I believe in the creator and he has given me wisdom on how to carry out my daily living and because of that, i can solve my problems without disturbing anyone.
