Good day, amazing people of hive blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. I am so delighted to write about the #hivenaija weekly prompts.
Life the day is not balanced. My mom will always tell me that we live in a mysterious world where anything can happen at any time. You should always prepare your mind and emotions to handle whatever life throws at you.
Most times it is not good to hide the truth from someone; it thinks it is better you tell the person the truth rather than hearing it from someone else that one hurt more. One thing about hiding something is that no matter how you try to hide it, it can never be hidden forever; one day the truth will come out.
Coming down to this week topic, I wake up one morning to find out that the people who I have always known as parents are not my biological parents. What will be my next move or my reaction? I will be surprised and shocked. It will take me minutes to recover from the shock. It will take me minutes to recover from the shock. At that point, my head will be blank. I will not know what to do next. I will be so emotional. I will be like, Mom and Dad, please tell me that you are lying to me. I have known you all this year. Why, as my parents will come up with this morning, it will be very hard for me to believe them. I will cry like a baby. I will be so traumatised. It will look like a dream. I will be like a dream. Someone should please wake me up to reality.
Seriously, it will take me months to console myself the first week of hearing the truth. It will really not be easy for me if proper care is not taken; it will affect my mental health, but as time passes, I have no choice but to take my faith. That is why you should always be ready to take whatever life offers you.
After I have taken the truth and healed emotionally, I will go in search of my biological parents to know why they have to give me out. One thing is for sure: those people who have taken care of me when I was small till this age still remain my parents. I will never trade them for anything; they have been there for me. Shower me with love and care.
Getting to know that they are not my biological parents and training me with love and care, my love for them will develop more, and I can even give my life for them to live. Still, I live on earth. I will never hurt them. I will be so lonely with them, and I love and cherish them all through my life.
