The first time in love is always unique. There were things that happened with your first love (or crush) that you would consider hilarious, romantic, and perhaps a bit awkward now. Reflect on those memorable moments from your first experience with love or a crush, or write a short story.
I told someone that although I am one who now pays a deaf ear to love because of what I am after which is "Being stable financially" but one thing I have been lucky with is being in a relationship or having a teenage crush on guys who genuinely care about me and would want to go to the end of the earth to be sure that I am comfortable in the best way they can make me comfortable but funny enough, we always end up going our separate ways after a while which I am okay with because I have always been with the ideology that "Not all relationships are meant to last long or end in marriage" it doesn't stop us from being friends because we went our separate ways peacefully and lastly, I am not in a rush to do the lifelong "Yes, I do" on the altar with any man just yet.
Just had two relationships and just two crushes but so far so good, I can say that I am glad I met them because they were good to me and they were there for me when I needed them, they all loved me the way they best knew how to love and treated me right by me. When people talk about their bad relationship experiences, I just can not say because I never had such experiences.
Well, my first crush and the first guy I loved was my age mate and an Igbo guy who goes by the name Christian, I currently do not know where he is now, we stopped being in touch after I moved down to our hometown and I lost my then phone that had his contact.

The funny and romantic thing about my first love is that we never gave ourselves a name or said we were an item, but we both knew what we felt for each other, although it was much easier since we had the same group as friends, so he would tell his guy friends some sweet words about me and they would tell my girlfriends who would in turn tell or most of them who I was very close to, would tell me the things he said about me but we both never sat down and told ourselves "I like you or I love you" to our faces.
Since I went to a private school, he understood and observed that every weekend especially Sundays after service, I would go to my stylist to help me make the new hairstyle that the teachers asked us the students to make, so every Sunday, whenever I go to the salon, he always accompany me and made sure to get me enough snacks that will take me till I am done making my hair while he gist with me.
My family attended an Apostolic church which was just in front of their compound, on some Sundays our choir was allowed to wear our normal clothes not the Sunday-Sunday choir uniform, I was always dressed up to look beautiful and eye-catchy because I knew that he was always standing on the balcony of their house waiting to watch me pass to church and gives me that handsome smile that makes me blush throughout the day and I will find myself coming outside than necessary so he can see me properly and I also can see him properly but we never talk.
Everyone in our barracks called us couples but we both never for once discussed our feelings to each other or aired out to each other our we felt about ourselves. We were just going with the flow and I can remember a day before the actual day I left that state, I wept bitterly and had to go and see him on the night before the actual day I traveled to let him know that I was truly traveling like he heard because I was sure he heard it due to the circumstances surrounding us back then, and we kissed. I couldn't stop talking about the kiss and how I felt with my friend who accompanied me to see him. He was my first crush, my first love and he took my first kiss.
