There are some businesses that just blow my mind, not because they’re flashy or bring billions, but because of the kind of energy, skill, and patience they require. I see people doing them every day like it’s normal, and I’m like… how do they do it? One thing about me, I like to observe and respect people from a distance, especially when I know I can’t do what they’re doing. That’s how I feel about hairdressing and fashion designing. Yeah, I have had many of them as friends like @amiegeoffery @monica-ene @hopestylist and many more. Fun fact: my mom is a fashion designer and I watched her making people's wear and I saw the bright smile on their face and now that's what my elder sister is doing.

In this blog, I will be sharing with you some businesses that deserve so much accolades and at the end of the blog, I am sure you will agree with me, so stick around to find out.
There are many businesses people do, but the ones I really admire and respect are hairdressing and fashion designing. These two are not easy at all, and that’s why I’ve never tried them and may never try.
To be honest, these are not just small jobs, neither are they easy professions. They might look easy from the outside, but they’re not. I can see a lot of people saying they want to be a fashion designer or a good hairstylist, but the people in it know better. These businesses take real skill, patience, and creativity. The way hairdressers stand for hours, attending to different customers’ hair and many of this customers come with different attitudes, sometimes the customer is friendly, other times they’re complaining or not patient, yet the hairdresser still manages to smile and do neat work this is something I respect deeply.
It's the same with fashion designers. I admire how they take plain fabric and turn it into something beautiful with just the imagination of their mind, then sew it from scratch. Measuring people, cutting clothes, sewing, and sometimes even fixing mistakes last minute. This shows it takes a lot of brainwork. Sometimes, the VIP customers bring urgent clothes and want them ready the same day or the next. That pressure alone is no child play.
But as much as I admire these two businesses, I don't see myself doing them. I know if I were a hairstylist, I would have a lot of female customers, but I don't have the patience, and I know I’ll get tired or frustrated too quickly. That’s why I always give credit to those doing it well. They really deserve my respect. I admire how skilled and patient they are, but I’m not into handling people's hair or standing for long hours. Wheewww 😩
For fashion… I admire the creativity, but sewing and measuring people isn't my thing. I might touch the person I am measuring in the wrong place because of pressure. Abeg. 😌
So yeah, big respect to all the hairdressers and fashion designers out there. You people are the real MVPs. Me I’ll stick to being your number one supporter from afar. Trust me, I pay extra when getting my hair or dress done. Kudos to you all.
