In this life, we are born with some things, like it is in us natural and we are always good at those things because they are inbuilt. Other, you simply need to acquire the knowledge, just like learning how to fly a plane before you can do it. You need to be taught.
In my life, I have never attended a classroom to get how to do it. No one passed me the pdf or a notebook to read the formal instructions. Yet, somehow, I have always have this inbuilt natural gift to pick up skill just by mere observations.
Fixing electronic? Just a few minutes of seeing someone else do it, and just like that, I see myself doing it also without any manual.
I can recall the the very first time I repaired and changed a wired socket in the house with no training or manual, just saw an electrician do it once and I grabbed it immediately for when I will be in need of it. I tried it, fixed it and it worked perfectly just like I have been doing it since ages. That particular day, I felt a click in me, I can do it. I have a gift.
Cooking? Even though I am a guy, a lot of people who has tasted my food always wonder where I learned it from even though I do not cook offen, but when I decide to cook, it is always a banger. I do not need to a recipe, with just the aroma and a glance at all the ingredients at hand, just like Hilda Bacci does it, I will recreate the magic. Right from when I was small, it it as if my brain is programmed to absorb some actions just like a absorbing foam and replaying it all over naturally.
Over certain people of time, the ability to do something without having a guideline became a tool for survival. Back then in school, I do need need to take a detailed notes before I grab. I watched closely and intensely, asked some questions and already what I needed-knowledge is settled in me. For me, I has not always been about being the smartest, but about how I pay deep attention to details and put my focus on it when it has already captured my attention and interest.
And over and over again, the society we leave in always put much emphasis on formal knowledge and certifications. But in the real sense of it, I so much place much believe in the power of intuition, the natural rhythm and being present. And this is the reason why we can crawl before walking properly, or even being able to kick a ball before we can spell 'football' properly.
Some of these natural talent that we have have been embedded in our DNA and they are not from the effort we show. These talents and gifts are something we do not ask for but as soon as they manifest, the make is fly high like an eagle.
And for just the few things that I can do that I said above, I have never payed or sat for any lessons or tutorial to learn it, but it lives in me.
And this is why I always say, having an natural inborn talent is totally different from skills or abilities acquired. If it is in the body, it is in the body. It is innate.
