2025 is shaping itself up to be quite the year. Some days, it feels like everything is falling into place, and other days, I’m just trying to keep my head above water. But, that’s life, isn't it.
Well, about all those "new year’s resolution".
I made this very grand plan to dive into the world of creative crafts this year. I wanted to learn how to make customized mugs, throw pillows, jotters, and all those cool personalized items. I already pictured myself sitting in my workspace, crafting and designing beautiful things. But guess what? Money is doing what it does best, reminding me it’s not as abundant as I wish/wanted. Every time I think I’m close, life comes swinging with another thing, another expense. Sincerely, it’s frustrating, but I keep telling myself that I’ll get there, one step at a time. For now, I just watch YouTube tutorials and dream about the day I can start.
Since money seems to be the main issue, I had it planned to learn during my one year service and just try save now, but am getting stressed, this week alone had made me just tired of it, this NYSC registration drama. I don’t know if it’s just me or if this process is designed be like this, to test our patience. Before I left school, I made sure to do all that is needed, incase I travel. Everything was submitted, signed, and sealed or so I thought. Now, again, they’re telling me to submit one thing or another that I already submitted. It’s like it won't end, it’s annoying, to say the least, but at this point, I’m learning to roll and cope with it with it. I need to keep my sanity intact.
But enough about my complaints. Let’s talk about you. I love checking up on people, and this seems like a means to, so, whatsup with you, how’s 2025 treating you so far? Have you started working on those resolutions of yours or you still in the “thinking about it” phase?. I ain't judging, I have mine too "unaccomplished", smiles. If you’ve started, that’s amazing, even in the fave of challenges and it feels tough, just keep going, dont relent. And if you haven’t, it’s okay too, you will definitely get there. Maybe your challenge is time, money, motivation, or even the fear of failing. Whatever it is, takee it one step at a time.
Despite the surrounding situations, I’m determined not to let these challenges define my year. I must achieve either of the two this year, either NYSC or learn the craft, one must definitely work out, and if both does..cool, and yes, money is tight, I have faith, giving up is not in my dictionary.
So, cheers to 2025, to the good, the bad, and everything in between, cheers to them all. Let’s keep pushing, no matter how it gets. And please, if you’ve got some tips on how to survive these year, some ideas, suggestions, money making tips, even your struggles, share them. We are all in this together.
